Liopleurodon

Two year old loves this! We wanted a water species for our dinosaur and prehistoric animals collection. This is a good size for holding and playing with and the teeth are a nice touch. It has come with us too the dentist and several other trips as well as in the bath and paddling pool. Sturdy and well made with nice detail.

Bought as one of my son's birthday presents. He had asked for a Liopleurodon. Wouldn't have paid this moch for a toy like this normally but was suprised with the quality. You get what you pay for! It goes with him everywhere and because it is a solid cast it is also suitable for the bath.

This item feels overpriced. It cost the same as an 8 inch spinosaurus (from national geographic). It feels solid and is well made but the item is tiny. I have edited this review, on reflection, as I initially gave it two stars as I was feeling disappointed. However, my son loves it and it is nicely detailed so have amended to four stars.

Son uses in the bath and it cleans well and doesn't hold water. Paint stays on without issue! Very solid and great item!

Exactly as described my grandson loves it

My 2 y/o grandson calls it 'dinosaur whale' and it flies rather than swims, but it's a lovely model and both he and his sister love it.

Good sturdy material but was expecting bigger or more detail etc for the price

WS Safari Liopleurodon, first this isn't a dinosaur at all but termed marine reptiles that was what Liopleurodon was and Safari have done a great job with the model I have only like many of you the paint work on the model is superb with the dark grey running over the light grey even the texture of the model can be felt the model looks like cross between a seal and a crocodile and he looks like he's had a visit to the dentists recently with it's row of white teeth.
