I love these. We had a very, very wet house, with water pouring down the windows in the winter. A friend persuaded me to buy one of these to help research the issues of the house. I was convinced it would be complicated and did not take it out of the packaging for over a year! One day I got brave & was astounded. So easy! Tells you everything you need to know the second you put the batteries in! Everything you need is just on the screen & very obvious. If you want more, the touch screen gives easy & instant extras. I can see what the humidity is and the temperature. Also what it was in the last 24 hours max & min. I can have centigrade or fahrenheit with one touch of the screen. It will even light up if I want it to for night viewing. I could not ask for more. I brought a dehumidifier (arete two, 20 L) which also worked really well and very easily. The house started to dry out at once & within 2 weeks it felt dry and no more water on the windows. I brought one of these little toys for each room! I have put them all in one room to test accuracy and they all agree which is reassuring. They also give the same reading as the dehumidifier. I am ridiculously happy! This is a very useful and very easy to use tool

My purpose for this device is to simply know the rough temperature and, more importantly, humidity in my flat, especially during the cold winter months. I don't own a greenhouse, a terrarium, a vine cellar, or a similar thing requiring more "professional" reads.Reading the reviews on this hygrometer and many others, I noticed that they all have people complaining about bad readings. Since I couldn't find a single one with a reasonable number of reviews (say, 100+) without someone complaining about this, and because it's a fairly cheap device (16 GBP at the time of this writing), I decided to get 2 of them for the 2 rooms I'm most interested in, keep them together for a day, and compare. I'm guessing that the chances of 2 of them being equally faulty are very slim, given that most of the other reviews are very positive. In case that these two proved to be very inconsistent, I would've requested a replacement for both, without worrying which one is the faulty one.I would suggest anyone buying these to use this approach, unless you have another device (especially hygrometer) to compare with.The results of the experiment can be seen on the accompanied image:- quite consistent current humidity (only 1 percentage point);- some discrepancy in the lowest measured humidity (4 percentage points), which is to be expected of any such device;- fairly consistent current temperature (under 0.5C apart, and usually it's less);- 24h low/high shows a bit bigger difference (1C) in the lowest measured temperature.My conclusion is that both of the devices work fine, unless one needs super-precise measuring, in which case you need to go way above this price range.As for the other features: the setup is trivial (it consists of putting the supplied batteries in and, if Fahrenheits are your thing, clicking the icon on the screen), the backlight is quite pleasant, the screen is very visible, the magnets on the back seem to be quite stronger than a device like this needs,... All in all, the device does very nicely what it is advertised do.Not having checked the dimensions prior to buying, I expected considerably bigger devices (the impression I got from the obviously doctored product images) and I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. In my opinion, the size is just right to make them very readable, yet quite elegant (although, I do admit that this is a matter of personal taste).These were delivered to me less than 2 days ago (2nd Nov 2018), so I cannot speak of their durability. However, if this review remains unedited, you can be sure that this didn't prove to be a problem since.To conclude: These are a good value for money, and I would recommend them to anyone with similar, non-professional needs.

I have had one of these for some time. These appear to be accurate and consistent. Right size and shape and large numbers (for the eyes of the elderly). There is also a facility to switch on the background light to see the details in the dark. Overall, a great product. Pleased with it and its usefulness.

Bought 2 different types from ThermPro and they both show the same Measurements so i trust them to be correct. very helpful gadgets.

I purchased these to monitor the relative humidity in my new flat after noticing signs of damp and mold. I have them placed in multiple rooms, and they’ve been really useful for tracking humidity levels. The light function is a nice feature, though it can be a bit tricky to see in the dark since it's touch-activated. Overall, a solid and reliable product that has become an essential part of my home. I’m so pleased with them that I plan to purchase another set!

Around 18 months ago, I wanted to keep an eye on the humidity in the house. Found this and decided to buy one.It currently sits on the side roughly in the center of our house as I felt this would be the best place to take the readings. The display is easy to read, I can take a quick glance at it when walking past it and can see the current temperature, humidity and the maximum and minimum values without having to touch it.The batteries that came with the unit last roughly 12 months which is great.Size wise, it hardly takes up any space and if needed, you can wall mount it.

Bough this Thermopro TP55 a few weeks ago and found it very good. Checked it for accuracy against a couple of other thermo kit and seemed pretty accurate. Bought another one recently for use in the garage where tempered and humidity readings swing across a wide range.I’d originally bought a cheaper and smaller Thermopro which I still use. But this led me into buying these upgraded versions. So, all in all, I’m pleased with them.

Very good and in use.Easy instructions and set up.Very good prompt delivery and best of all does what it says on the tin.What can go wrong 😑.
