Pretty Good Marshall AMP sound but---
This pedal is ok and reasonable good at making a Marshall sim sound but it could be better. What lets it down slightly is the Bass frequency which is a bit too light and unimpressive. Joyo's Ironman series Goldenface is much better in that respect. You can really hear the thump of the bass in that pedal it really sounds like you are moving some air with it as if you are standing in front of a Marshall Cab. The Plexion has the drive/gain sound of a Marshall amp but lacks it's authority and presence. If you drive an amp or another Amp sim pedal with it you are going to have to crank the bass up. All in all I am not really convinced by the pedal and in my opinion it has only limited usefulness. I would suggest spending a bit extra and getting the JOYO.

It arrived in good time and was well packaged
It arrived in good time and was well packaged. It is a bit noisy but nothing too bad. The small black volume and filter knobs are a little difficult to see, the addition of a small blob of tippex soon solves this. It is a supposedly a copy of the proco rat but as I haven't a rat to compare it with I cannot tell you how accurate it is in matching the sound of a genuine rat. What I can say is that when you stomp on the button things get dirty, in fact sometimes I have to have a shower afterwards...it can be that filthy. All in all a good value, will it stand the test of time? only time will tell and I have had this only a couple of weeks.

Versatile, robust, affordable.
Highly affordable mini pedal clone of three POCO distortion pedals - including two versions of the Rat - in one. Intuitive layout, sturdy build quality, attractive design. Rat clones are usually sold on the merit of blistering distortion which retains the bass signal, but this pedal is capable of surprisingly wide range of tones; set all of the controls to about 10 o'clock in the 'lead' position, and it produces a treble-boosted tone that's rich in harmonics without being at all muddy or overly harsh, for example (think early U2). Ideal for vintage-style overdrive / distortion tones - does a pleasing impression of a small combo being driven hard. A pedal that most guitarists would do well to add to their pedalboard!

For the money this is an amazing sound. This is a tiny pedal and you should be aware that you need a 9 volt negative centre power supply to be able to use it. If anyone is expecting room for a battery, then forget it. I don't know any pedal this size that uses one.It cones in a great box, well protected, and it is small enough to keep it in for perpetual use. Construction is tough and has stood up to many many hours of use so far.You can dial in a soft blues tone or a classic 70s fuzz. With a flick of the toggle switch you can then change the nature of the sound from a classic British sound to a slightly harsher 80s or california style rock sound. This offers plenty of versatility and is a good useful unit for the price. It's a step above many similar units on the market.

get one ,stop whinging and just get one .
so I watched a you tube video and thought that sounds quite good, found that amazon were selling them for £20 quid, what can i say bargain, even if you don't need another pedal its worth having at the absolute bargain price .The tones from this tiny little pedal are really really good loads of scope for blues, reggea, rock, heavy rock even at a push maybe metal.I'ts obviously aimed at being a big brand named plexi amp and it delivers.ok its not a 3 grand amp head its a 20 quid pedal.its well made with a tough aluminium body and everything feels solid, the switches and dials are smooth and easy to operate ,even the box it comes in looks good .i will be looking at other aroma pedals in future as they seem to be of very good quality and a fraction of the price of most boutique pedal

Excellent little pedal...
Brought this pedal a few days ago and love it, I'm playing it through my DT25 line6 head on the clean setting, which I believe is based on a fender twin, through a black star cab.using a les paul.If your after that led Zeppelin kind of classic rock tone in my opinion this little one is great. I've not got the gain up hardly at all and it holds a lovely warm sustain. Very vintage. Been playing through all my pedals next to it, and this just wins. And all for 25 quid. We all search for "the tone" and this is now 100% part of my gigging rig. Have ordered another 2 pedals in this range on the strength of this one.

Bargain Plexi Tone.
So far so good. Seems solidly built and sounds far better than any budget pedal I've ever tried or owned before. Sounds great at home levels through a clean amp platform. A bargain and has given me a range of Marshall tones from my Laney Amp. No brainer for 25 quid. 3M velcro fastener was a nice touch.
