Good for AKG K371
Bought these for my AKG K371's because my ears hit the drivers with the stock pads, making them slightly uncomfortable after long sessions.Fitting:Fitting them is somewhat trickier than my last set of headphones. These are quite tight to get into the groove on the K371s since the earcups are large and the groove is pretty deep, so they have to stretch a bit to get over the lip. The trick I used based on another review was to get them in on the bottom edge and use a guitar pick to feed the edge of the pad into the groove. Getting the final part in was fairly scary since I had to pull the pad quite hard to get it in position, but these things are fairly stretchy. Just be careful with the foam backing and take it slowly. Overall it probably took 10-15 minutes. Harder than swapping the pads on my M50X but not bad.Once pushed on, these fit well and look good. Since the fit is so tight, there is very little movement. The pads can be rotated a little bit, but not without effort. They definitely are not at risk of falling out. They're a lot deeper and wider than the stock pads so the whole package doesn't look quite so sleek, but that's a tiny price to pay for the comfort.Comfort:My ears no longer touch the drivers so I am happy. They're very soft and very large. If you also have issues with the depth of the stock pads these may help you too. I've worn them for about 6 hours in one sitting with no discomfort.Audio:I have not noticed any massive difference. I don't think I would be able to tell them apart unless I had two sets side by side to try simultaneously. The headphones still sound fantastic with these pads. Your mileage may vary if you're more experienced or sensitive to this sort of thing. The K371s are highly dependent on a good seal. With these, I found it slightly improved. I didn't have major problems with the stock pads in the first place, but found they lost seal if I yawned or turned my head at certain angles. These don't have that issue at all.The increased depth of these gives them a slightly wider soundstage so that's another plus. Conclusion:Overall, these work nicely on the K371. Sound quality is still great, and comfort is massively improved.

A useful up-grade on the orignal ear-pads, with improoved comfort!
Boiught as a replacement for the original earpads, which had started to disintegrate after only two years, I was attracted to these ear-pads based on their "quality" appearance and positive reviews. On receiving the earpads, they do indeed appear to be well made, and give confidence that they will last considerably longer than the originals! They fit somewhat differently to the originals, with the back of the earpad going right over the edges of the cans, not just sitting in a groove, as the originals do - however, they fit well and do not look out of place. These earpads are MUCH more comforable than the originals, being better padded, and are slightly larger meaning that the ear is completely enveloped, so that my ear-lobes did not get squashed, as they did on the originals!Sound-qualty is excellent, but they do sound slightly different to the originals. Having thicker padding means that they make the headphones slightly quieter (as the speaker is a few mm further away from yout ears) The sound is clearer, and more open sounding. I swapped back to the originals a few times for comparison purposes, and overall, I prefer the sound with the Brainwavs!

Comfortable but requires tuning foam for ATH - M50x
These definitely make the M50x more comfortable, unfortunately because the inner mesh is so thin compared to the stock pads, they make the headphones sound unnaturally bright.I was able to solve this problem with some tuning foam, that is placed between the pads and the headphones driver. This has tamed the high frequencies and pretty much returned them to how they sound with stock pads.I would of given them 5 stars if they included tuning foam, as they are needed to tame the fatiguing high frequencies.

Will fit Momentum Over Ear V1
I bought these for my Sennheiser Momentum Over Ears (version 1) because even though I highly rated the 'phones I couldn't get on with the small sized stock ear pads.I tried the trick where you roll up a piece of kitchen roll and tuck it round the inner crease of the ear pad but I still found them to be too snug. These ear pads are larger than the Momentum's ear cups and when they first arrived I worried they were too large (irony) but after fitting them I found them nice and secure (though I think they may crease over time where the ear cup pushes against the "excess" pleather, I'll upload a picture to demonstrate).Aesthetically: the Brainwavz ear pads do change the look of the 'phones somewhat. In my view I'd describe them as now looking a little more like headphones you'd use on your home Hi Fi and a little less compact and mobile than before.Sound: (disclaimer: I am no audiophile) I feel my Momentums now have a touch wider soundstage but with the sacrifice that they are a bit less 'intimate'. The sound also seems a bit flatter and has smoothed out the 'V shaped' signature they started with. In my opinion they sound different but not worse.Lastly, these ear pads don't appear to have introduced any new issues in terms of sound leakage, in that when wearing them I haven't noticed any increase in outside noise, but as for the experience of those around me- I haven't tried any tests and I didn't with the stock ear pads either so I have no comparison.I hope this is all helpful and thanks for reading.Update: I couldn't resist tinkering and in an effort to address the 'creasing' potential I mentioned above I tried the rolled up kitchen roll trick. It's improved the feel of the Brainwavz even more, they are deeper and feel more cushioned and (to my ears) have returned a bit of the intimacy of the Momentums. Next step will be looking for some pencil thin foam roll to replace the kitchen roll with something marginally less 'macguyvered'.
