If you expect to receive a pack of small stencils and a few tatty crayons you'll be in for a great surprise. The carry-bag these come in is packed with goodies. The stencils are thin and flexible but can be used with crayons and pencils as long as they aren't pulled about too much. Having said that, they are strong and would be especially ideal for stamping with a dampened sponge and paints. There is a huge variety of stencil patterns. My two granddaughters (4 and 6) hadn't explored more than half of them after a whole afternoon's experimentation, colouring and design-making. The crayons are good quality and there is also a generous pack of plain A4 paper included. I'm guessing that is about 80gsm. I heartily recommend these stencils not just for the overall quality but also for the amount you get ... but do bear in mind that the plastic they're made of is very flexible.When I bought these, I also added a whole set of other stencils by Koh-I-Noor. At that time they were all add-on items but at the time when I write this review, they don't seem as easily available. If you can find them, they make an excellent supplement to the Stenztime set. But I'd only recommend them as add-ons rather than at the inflated prices sometimes charged by some affiliate sellers. KOH-I-NOOR OCEAN Template

Grandchildren loved these stencils & have lots of fun with them. There's a good variety subjects for the children to draw & colour in. Overall a really good purchase & value for money.

At this price - £15:00, this is a steal. Twenty sheets of stencils, pencils, scissors, sharpener and thick paper/ card - all in a plastic holder,These are large stencils, suitable for A4 paper covering everything from helicopters to dinosaurs, including dress designs, horses, fish, butterflies, planets, cats and so on. On their own the stencils, if purchased one at a time would set you back up to £100, sp well worth it.Stencils are good quality, but some are quite thin so take care. The whole thing is great for illustrating letters to grandchildren, which is what it was purchased for

I think people are so often too generous with their reviews. Let's be honest, the crayons are terrible quality, they barely draw/colour. The stencils are on very thin and flimsy plastic. There is an unnecessary amount of plastic in the packaging of all the bits. I wouldn't say the price is a 'steal' as some have suggested. I saw a pack of alphabet and numbers stencils in a shop for a pound yesterday, and they were thicker and higher quality. However there is a good variety of all types of things in this stencil set, and my son likes them a lot. Would I buy again? The plastic overkill is a bit offputting.

I bought this as part of my 5 year old grandson’s xmas as he loves to draw. I’ve had a look through it and I find it great value for money. Lots of realistic stencils of horses, cars etc, and a nice bag with a rope handle to store and carry around.
