Great if you follow the basic
Product worked well on repairing (albeit temporary) on a pressurised water tank. Remove any pressure until the putty is solid (24h) Key is to throughly clean the area with wire brush and wire wool down to bare metal. Preheat the putty with a hair dryer and mix well. Rollout in to worm size and press into the job, continue layering down worm size pieces smoothing together. The puty achieved its cure with the residual heat from the water tank. Next day water pressure turned on and no seepage

really good product...mixed results.
On balance I think this is a really good project, I just hate plumbing. It will get you out of a jam with pipes under pressure....just.. but its best to do the job properly in the first place. It says it 'sets under water', I'm not so sure about that. It is very useful in some circumstances and seems to work better when allowed to dry when there is no water around. I used it in two places recently, one good one bad. Good; a hard seal around the big soil pipe on a toilet ; on top of 'plumbers mate'; to give a good hard seal, ready for painting. Bad; a leaking compression joint 15mm, which was under pressure; it was the hot tap on a sink and it struggled. The point is there is far more pressure on the cold side. The water kept finding a way through. I ended up replacing the whole joint. DIY bloke.

excellent value for quality item
USED THIS TO SEAL A WATER LEAK ON WASHING MACHINE HOSE CONNECTION AFTER TRYING NUMEROUS OTHER PRODUCTS.NOT TOO EASY TO MIX THE 2 BITS TOGETHER AND NO INSTRUCTION AS TO HOW MUCH OF EACH TO USE,WE DECIDED HALF AND HALF.WHEN MIXED BY HAND IT BECAME EASY TO APPLY TO PROBLEM JOINT AND AREA.LIKED THE PRICE AS FOUND IT TOO EXPENSIVE ELSEWHERE

Didn't work for me
A friend recommended this as I had a weird pinhole leak on a radiator (by weird, I mean it was in a place where you wouldn't expect a leak, nowhere near a valve or opening). It stuck down okay, but eventually, the leak just seeped through. Replaced the radiator instead, which was easy to do and cheap (just needed the right tools and a few youtube videos).

Does not work on a damp surface
I purchased this to try to repair a tiny pin prick hole in a pipe. I was not able to turn the water off completely, due to a faulty stop tap. I mixed up the putty and applied as instructed, but it would not stick to the damp pipe, the water just came through the putty. I then read in the instructions that the surface need to be applied to a dry surface. So it was no good for me. The packaging was opened, it looked like someone had already used some of the putty, then returned it to Amazon. Can’t say that I blame them.

Very useful solution to minor leaks
I love this stuff. I'm a landlord and I've used it on various pipes and connections that had a minor leak and it has saved me from tearing my hair out over annoying drips under sinks and basins. Also I've used it on a couple of radiators with pinhole leaks. I have put it on things that were slightly damp, but I don't think I'd give it much hope on a leak that was under pressure. It suggests that you tape it after applying it, so maybe that would work under pressure but I think it would be difficult.
