looks great, but........Coincidentally - similar to a previous review, I managed to get about 70 square metres worth of use then the weld broke.I suspect this may be good for cheap laminate flooring - the £10 a pack that you buy from B&Q.However, I was fitting £40 pack of engineered wood that needs to be fit firmly so needs a bit more than a gentle tap.For the money - it isn't bad and far batter then the cheap slim bits of metal that you get with flooring packs (the ones with the spacers included).I bought two of these originally and both have bent.Very disappointed with the build quality and assumed it would last more longer than it did.Unfortunately I need to look for another replacement as I still have one more bedroom to do......

Solidly made from approximately 5mm steel and very weighty. Has a nice soft protective fabric underneath to prevent marking the floor and the anvil block welded to it for tapping the board into place is a much better job than levering a board I to place. Don't bother with a cheap alternative this will last and do what it is supposed to. The only criticism I could offer is that due to the thickness of the steel the folded part that you place over the end of the board in order to pull it requires at least a 5mm gap between the board and wall already. Might be an idea to grind it from the front side to a wedge shape to allow prying boards that are closer to the wall while retain a 90 degree angle on the side of the fold that meets the board.

Decided to lay laminate flooring ourselves in our first house instead of paying someone else to do it. I read reviews about the flooring kits you get and realised that a better pull bar could make a big difference. We've now laid two good sized room, with the hall and one more to go. This pull bar has made it super easy. It's really heavy and solid and only requires a tap or two to pull things into place. It feels very high quality considering the fairly low price. Well worth it.

This was twice the price of the last similar device I have used, however what a difference, very sturdy build.If you are laying flooring get this one forget the cheaper alternatives.
