Brilliant Seller - personal after sales service offering further help and advice and showing genuine concern for my sick cat. Quick delivery and a quality item. Arrived sealed for peace of mind and, unlike some other supplements I have purchased, contains a desiccant packet to keep the pills from gaining unwanted moisture. The item itself is of good quality and seems to have been more beneficial to Jess the cat, who suffers from liver problems, than medication prescribed by his vet. With all things like this though, it is hard to tell empirically. Was it just coincidence that Jess' health seem to improve, albeit slightly, immediately after starting to take milk thistle supplements? I don't know, but that is certainly my impression. If your pet has similar problems, seriously, what do you have to lose by trying milk thistle? It may help. My only critique of this product is the size of the pills themselves. Anyone who has every tried to give pills to a cat will know they do not like it, and these pills are quite large and Jess simply refused to take them. He also has the ability to sniff out the powder when I split the capsules and put it in his food. I solved this problem by buying some empty gel caplets and decanting the larger pills into the empty ones which are about half the size making them easier to administer. If you are wondering, I used a well washed Bic biro lid as a funnel which makes the job much easier. I get just under half a large pills worth into the smaller caplets. Instead of one of the bigger pills, Jess gets two small ones at either end of the day. I can't see a dog (unless it is tiny) having any such problems.

My girl usually sniffs out any pills/ additives but she' quite happily eats this ,she does seem to be putting weight back on ,so I'm very hopeful this is helping support her liver

Started our dog on these tablets and next day he started to be off his food and didn’t eat for two days so put him back on tablets from vet and he seems to have recovered now. I can’t say that these tablets caused it but I will not give him any more of them in case it was the cause. Our dog doesn’t mix with other dogs except his brother and he hasn’t been ill at all. It may be a one off but be warned if it happens to your dog.

My dog has epilepsy and so was getting problems with his liver due to his meds. The vet prescribed another, far mor expensive brand which did bring the problem under control but I couldn’t afford to continue with it. So far my dog is doing well. I prefer these capsules as he swallows it with no issues when coated in a little peanut butter. He doesn’t like anything sprinkled on his food. I have requested a repeat order. Don’t really know how I can rate flavour or what sturdiness is for! Just had a new blood test (April 22nd) and I’m pleased to say 2 liver enzymes show improvement,

These seem to be helping my cat although she doesn’t like it emptied over her food so I have to push it down her throat
