Including primus. - This album is so criminally underrated and under the radar, I'm just discovering this 19 years after it's release.. this is by FAR better than the last 5 Primus albums.. the more I listen the more I think it just may be better than ALL the primus albums... getting a 2nd copy to keep inside (can't keep the other one out of my Van's CD player) hell I may buy a 3rd to keep sealed for when the world catches up and realizes this album exists.... it's truly a crime this was never pressed on vinyl.. Review: A Funky Something Different - As an old fan of early 90's Primus, I recently decided to try a few of Claypool's other projects. This is quite possibly better as an album in its entirity than any of the Primus albums were. I'm not sure I came across a song that needed to be skipped over. As far as musical genre, it's apples to oranges with Primus. But as an adult now I more enjoy this funky style that I can listen to with my 2 year old, than the hard "I probably shouldn't be driving this fast" Primus. Highly recommended.

A Funky Something Different

I Love This Album!!!!!!
Best side project that les claypool ever did! Its funky, weird and all out amazing. Some of the greatest musicians ever all on one album. If your in to experimental/funk music then order this now. Not one bad song on the album. Its a shame this is the only album you will ever hear from them!

Funktastic
I couldn't be happier with this product. Well, I could, but it's highly unlikely any CD will ever make me a blueberry smoothie, so to top this would take a new technology in musical offerings.

HAHAHA ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! If you like that funk sound you better grab this one up. This is an all star jam band lineup right here, almost like a dream. I mean seriously, Les Claypool, Buckethead, Bernie Worrel, and the Brain. I'm familiar with the other three but this is my first time hearing the "Brain" on the drums. This guy is too sikk. This group is just genius and I hope to god they make another album.

Slightly Disappointing
I will admit, the quality of this CD is technically good but it's nothing new. Sounds like another Primus CD. I heard this group on Bonnaroo and was expecting more of that sound. It's not. If you want another Primus CD, get it. If you want the smooth, Funk, jam of Bonnaroo, don't bother.

Another Claypool Band
A friend recommended this on. Can't believe I had missed it earlier. Claypool, Buckethead, Bernie Worrell and some vocals by Gabby La La. An excellent choice for those who have outgrown the ordinary. Wish there was an sequel.

A bizzarre melting pot of genius musicians. Fans of Primus will love this. Buckethead's playing is superhuman on the first track.

Claypool, Buckethead, Brain : une réunion d'artistes qui donne un album d'une rare qualité musicale. A écouter ne serai-ce que pour le solo de Buckethead sur le premier titre sobrement intitulé... Buckethead !
