I bought this for my daughter after she had a paranoid moment over the hairs above her lip. Plucking, waxing and threading is all very fine once you get beyond your early teen years but for the wimpy among us, or those of us who can get away with just lightening any facial hair, this is a great alternative. It's exactly the same formula as it was the last time I used it (quite a few years ago now), with a separate little tube of powder and some thick cream in a tub. You get a dinky little mixing cup and spatula too.Mixing in the ratios stated on the box involves eyeballing the amount, nothing accurate. As I said, I used to use Jolen a lot myself for my top lip (before I took to tweezers) and I don't recall that exact science was required for mixing the ratios of cream and powder. As by my experience before, the cream kind of sits on the skin and can crack away and fall off quite easily so once you've smeared it across the skin above the lip, talking gets a bit tricky. But it also makes taking it off and gently washing (with cold water) a doddle - the cream kind of just sits on the hairs more than sticking to your skin.The cream gives a prickly sensation and can redden the skin for a short while but it's pretty harmless and really gentle compared to other methods. And it's effective. The bleaching agent is hydrogen peroxide which has many medicinal uses, and if used sensibly and carefully (including a skin patch test before using) is a really good way to deal with dark facial hair without pulling it out.A box of this should last you ages too if it's just being used for small areas. It's great value.It's good to see that Jolen are still producing this little box of magic - often the established brands are still being sold years on simply because they work so well. That's certainly true for Jolen.

Jolen is always best for everyone to use it's little pricey but good in results ☺️

Great product but unfortunately handling was really bad which resulted in box being delivered damaged

it made my very hard leg hair, light blonde and it's hard to notice. I am really happy with the results. I was a bit scared, reading the comments, that I might get an allergic reaction, since my skin is really sensitive, but i got no itch, no red marks, nothing! Only bleached body hair, as I wanted. I am surprised how well this product works. I put a lot of cream on my body, just to make sure that everything was covered and waited for maybe 20-30 minutes. Unfortunately, the cream was only enough to cover my right leg, so i purchased some more cream to bleach all of my body hair. My body hair grows a lot and it's black, so i've been very self conscious all my life, because of it. I've tried home waxing but it didn't work and hurt so much. I've done it with an epilator for a few years but it was a nightmare! So much pain, so much hair everywhere, my whole skin got an awful rash every time and i couldn't recover for days from the shock. Plus the noise is so bad, it's literally in my ears. So i've been shaving for many years now and i get rash every time as well and cuts. As i said my skin is very sensitive, but i was looking for something that would at least be painless. Razors are really bad for the environment as well, so many fish end up with a razor stick up is their throat or stomach and they die. It's a real issue. Plus the hair grows every other day and I can't be bothered to be a slave to that routine anymore !So i bought the hair bleach and oh how!!! The process is a bit annoying, like every other hair removing method, bt it doesn't hurt and you only do it once ! After that you are free!

I took before and after pictures and there wasn’t much of a difference. Not sure this product is worth it. Also during the time it was on my skin it became really clunky which I found weird. For reference I have darker skin and my hair is black. My hair typically does not require longer processing time as it dyes quickly.

I suffer with sensitive skin and this bleach was perfectly fine in several different areas of my body including my eyebrows. Albeit, I left it on a bit too long for my eyebrows to get my preferred colour, which is my fault but doesn't dry out the skin at all.

I used this to bleach my brows. Left on dark brown eyebrows for around 7/8 minutes then wipe off for beautiful light brown brows. Will definitely be repurchasing when I run out! Thanks!
