Exactly what I needed
I recently purchased an Ibanez TMB 100 bass, which is heavier than any of my other string instruments. I have a mild case of scoliosis, so comfort and protection are essential to me. I have been playing my Ibanez for many hours a day for the past week since I got the strap; I'm standing up at about half of that time, and I can say that this strap gets the job done nicely. The weight of the bass is evenly distributed across my back and shoulders and the instrument actually doesn't feel as heavy that way. After a long day of practice my fingers hurt, but not my back. This will be my strap of choice whenever I play on my feet.I ordered the L size because, at 6'2", my arms are long and it's actually more comfortable for me to lower the bass when I'm standing up, and I thought that would be the right size for me. However, the L size fits too long when I'm sitting down, even at its shortest. I think the shorter size would have been better. I don't need the full length offered by the L size. So just keep that in mind: Unless you're Krist Novoselic, you're probably better off with the shorter-sized strap. It may be too soon to comment on this, but I was slightly concerned about my sweat getting on the strap during the long practice hours. I noticed the strap ended up as damped as my t-shirts, yet the material on the strap does not seem to be affected and so far no bad smells are coming out of it and the surface of thge strap feel spotless. I guess I'll repost if this happens to change for me in the near future. I have three weeks of heavy practice ahead of me. That should be enough to detect any issues.

Great Strap
Very sturdy and durable guitar strap. 5'5 with a big gut so this fits perfectly. The secret pick pouch is not really accessible without adjusting the strap but that's not the real purpose of a guitar strap now is it? It relieves so much weight off your shoulders while the memory foam keeps it real comfortable. The fabric also keeps it from sliding all about your shoulders also. Great, GREAT item! Looking to purchase a 2nd strap soon!!!

Just what I was hoping for
Just what I was hoping for. This strap is great. The width and cushion make my guitar feel SIGNIFICANTLY lighter. It seems to be good quality material. I'm pretty tall so it's difficult to find a strap that fits. This one was perfect and correct on listed measurements. I would definitely recommend this strap.(Update) I left my first one at a gig. I bought this one again because I love it so much. On both of these I've installed the Dunlop strap lock. The end of the strap is so thick I had to cut into the strap, but we'll worth it and very sturdy!

Amazing for everyone, especially amazing for thinner/shorter folks
Most guitar straps are too long, too uncomfortable, too xyz. Not this one. I put MONO Short straps on all of my electric guitars and basses. I'm a thinner female so the padded nature of this strap feels amazing; it doesn't cut into my collarbones or cut off my circulation.I'd recommend this strap to anyone, but folks who may be on the shorter or thinner side will especially appreciate it. It's so comfortable and doesn't cause you fatigue when you play standing up for hours.I've had all 3 of my MONO straps for years and they still hold up well. The slit at the end of the strap that connects to the guitar is a little small/tight, but that's a minor issue compared to the excellent value. Get this strap!

Style and Comfort
I'm a short guy (5 foot 4) with a big guitar (Gibson semi-hollow body). Using a regular 2-inch-wide cotton strap was extremely uncomfortable and took its toll on my neck and shoulder. I've had good experiences with other MONO products, so I decided to give this strap (the short version) a try. It's worth every penny. The part of the strap that goes over your shoulder is nicely padded with memory foam cores, and it's width distributes the weight very evenly across my shoulder. Practices with my band can run for several hours, and I can play standing up the whole time without much issue. Most of the time, it's my feet that get fatigued before my shoulder.I also own a MONO Doolittle strap, which I use on a much lighter Strat. I prefer the overall look of the Doolittle, but I don't like the rubber end panels on that strap because they are very difficult to put over your end pins. The Betty also has rubber end panels, but they are not as thick, and therefore, much easier to put on an take off. They still have a strong grip, though, so I don't worry about the safety of my guitar. The thickness of the padded section on the strap does mean that it can get pretty warm--I definitely find my shoulder getting sweaty after extended play. Also, I have to set the strap as short as it can go (and even then, it's a touch long), but that shouldn't be a problem as long as you're taller than me. If you're looking for a stylish strap that also maximizes comfort, this is a good place to start.

YES!
Best strap next to some of the high end leather straps I own. I have some heavy guitars like an explorer body shape(Solar) LP guitars, V guitars and this strap make my back happy again. Im 6'2 and getting older. I needed something to help out the old back. Only issue some of the stiching gets frayed but makes no change to the strap overall. Nothing is coming apart. I own 3 of these now in different sizes. The large ones for the v and LP and the short for a Kiesel Type X headless.
