The media could not be loaded. Makita can sometimes be a bit hit and miss across the range (coming from a Makita fan), however this is one of the really great product! (Pros ☑️ and cons ✖️review below). Versatile, easy to use and well built being the punchlines here.Pros:☑️ incredibly well built, high quality plastics and protective rubbers. Feels like a quality product, and can easily take the occasional drop on the floor.☑️ Provides a full 360° of movement, and The quality of the joints are incredibly high.☑️ there are actually two different hooks included in the package. The first hook is built-in to the back of the light (see photos) and also pivots 360°. The second hook can be attached almost like a lanyard and comes separate in the pack.☑️ incredibly bright LEDs, which have two settings. First button press turns on the LEDs to the maximum level, with the second press turning them into a dimmer mode.☑️ even with a 5ah Makita battery, the product is still light and versatile. However would probably be better with a smaller 3ah battery instead. (AllMakita batteries are sold separately, like all other Makita products)Cons:✖️ The top of the LED light can only rotate 360° in one direction. Initially a bit confusing, and there could be a tendency to force it the wrong direction on occasion.♾ In conclusion, a great all-round product. I bought it on Amazon for less than £29, which also makes this a bargain against RRP. Would recommend!

Probably the best torch ever! Nice and bright.. Lost my other one and had it over 4 years. Couldn’t do without it

Really good product works really well nice and bright really easy to use the button is a little sensitive but fine battery life on old battery is insane considering my batterys are worn out

If you already have Makita batteries this is a very useful portable light at a great price from Amazon. By slipping the lanyard over you head you are able to illuminate whatever is required whilst leavening both hands free.

A little on the expensive side but this gives a good light & is easy to adjust. Good rubber grip but on/off button difficult to locate. I’ve been using this for nearly a year & still struggle with the concealed button, but this is my only gripe.

i got a 5 ah battery...so this thing can do around 20 hours on full brightness.. im happy ..

Most useful rechargeable worklamp I have owned, used in worshop, outdoors, camping, loft etc. It stands on base, hangs from inbuilt hook, adjustable head that can be directed almost any direction and angle, allowing both hands to remain free to work with in the well lit area provided by the LED adjustable head.I am using one of my existing batteries, BL1830 3amp, on 1/2 power it lasts around 22 hours, on full power this reduces to about 9 hrs. On the 4 amp,5 amp and 6amp batteries this can be up to 48hrs half power, 20 hrs full power. All in all, cracking bit of kit, Makita are often copied, but in my opinion, never bettered!
