Harley Quinn is BACK! And, this time she has to deal with a megalomaniac alien that set free after opening a door underground (see the previous volume), cannibals, a bat-fan from the future, and old foe, and her parents! Well, the parents not so much, she was busy trying to keep bat-fan off her back.Anyway, it's a lot of things going on in this graphic novel. I was a bit doubtful at the beginning when the alien got free, but the story turned out to be better than I had anticipated. Still, I found this volume to just above-average, with now and then some funny bits. The action sequences were good and as usual is my favorite crazy chick wreaking havoc wherever she goes. On the plus side is the art straight through lovely! Favorite part? Hm, nothing really comes to mind, no story that really shined more than the others. Perhaps Red Tools part in the bat-fan story, it was a good twist.

Slowly catching up with Harleys rebirth run. Really enjoyed this one but it does still have its flaws.The biggest issue with the Harley Quinn books is the lack of consistency in art and story. It feels like you are reading three or more takes at a time and that can be very annoying.This book seems to only really have two art styles so it works ok going back n forth until the end where they go all in on the more realistic art which I don’t particularly like.The story was good, gives a good few morals around homeless problems and a good team vibe. Arcs from previous trades start to come to a head and we get a possible backstory to Red Tool.Overall it’s definitely moving in the right direction, just needs to get the few ‘sexual adult’ themes reigned in a little and more consistency.I would like more of the longer story arc stuff rather than the short stories with multiple artists.

Great book, but disappointed in condition. Described as new, but had cover bent at corners. Could possibly be from how it was packaged less adequately than other books I've received (book was delivered with half sized cardboard inside plastic envelope.
