It can work with the 2 IP onvif cameras if you have added 8 analog cameras. It also supports 12 IP onvif cameras without analog cameras

Q: Can you use a 500gb hdd

The minimum support capacity of the hard drive is 1TB, and the 500GB HDD is not supported.

Q: Also forgot to ask, do you need to purchase a hard drive separately for it to record?

Hi, it depends on which one you order, some have the HDD some don't, it should tell you in the advert when you click on it and a selection menu should pop up, the basic one from what I can gather does not have the HDD included.

Q: can i bypass the password
