Analog Quarz

This is my first watch of a reputable brand. This watch is of great quality both in the way it looks and feels. It is also punctual and reloable in displaying time. It is of solid built, and definitely good value for money. The buttons have a great tactile feel when pressed and probably going to last without failure. It is not so much of an eye catcher as some of the more expensive watches, but it stands on solid grounds, being subtle, yet pleasing to look at. The only cons are that it does not come with an extra link, which would be helpful, if your wrist is thick.

I've brought two same watches within a week for my anniversary present. Although the watches look the same, but the packaging looks different. Likely because they are from different seller. The first one was from Prime Home & Bargain, the watches looks brand new and very nice. There are protection plastic sticker for the watchband, the model no. tag, the manual and the tool for adjusting the watch band length. It really smooth when tuning the time & date. I love the watch so much, thus, buy another one for my husband to make them as a pair. The only cons for the watch is that it need to be tune for the date manually 1-2 months, my previous SEIKO can adjust this automatically. With this price, I will still give it 5 stars. The 2nd one was from Penthouse Retail with a higher price (£11 more). The watch looks the same but doesn't come with any protection plastic sticker, no tool for watchband adjustment (luckily I got it from the first order or I don't know how I can adjust the length of the watchband). The manual & model tag are not belong to this model of watch. It feels a bit not smooth compared with the 1st purchase when tuning the date & time. Although the outlook of the watch looks very nice, I'm still worrying if it is not new of return by other because of some fault. I can only give this 3 stars. I've learned a lesson why there may have big differences of review for same product as they may come from different seller.

Having owned a couple of Seiko's over the years My last dying in August this year after twenty years service, that without having it serviced during that time. I nearly went for another well known make as a replacement. But my wife spotted a new Seiko which she said looked nice and talked me into going for it. I bought the said new Seiko three weeks ago. It was easy to set up. Has kept perfect time. Very pleased with my new watch which came from Rubicon Watches via Amazon. Thank You Rubicon a very pleasing watch.

Absolutely stunning watch. Really pleased with it. Wears a little smaller on the wrist than I expected. Quick warning. The steel bracelet is very big and I needed to remove a couple of links. Luckily I have my own kit. But if you don’t, factor that into the price. Either take it to a specialist or buy a new strap. (22mm lug width) I’ve now changed the strap to a nice leather one, suits the watch much better IMO. Great value entry level seiko.

Great looking watch. Seiko are known for producing all of their own components in-house, rather than buying-in various parts like lots of other companies do. I’ve owned a number of Seiko watches over the years and they’ve never let me down. Great looking watch, great quality and highly recommended.
