The short answer to your question is yes. Nothing stopping you from drilling a couple of holes on the top frame of the rack to mount in to the wall. It's sturdy enough to hold 15 bottles without tipping over. I'd say get some decent screws in through the rack and you would be able to mount in on the wall. Unfortunately they dont come with recommended screws. But its a very sturdy rack.

Will the shelves fit jars that are 5.7cm deep?

No. The shelves are not deep enough. They fit Schwartz jars fine as they have a narrow base.

No, I've just measure my pots and the maximum is 40mm diameter (same as the Schwartz range)......they are lovely spice racks though!
