This band is WONDERFUL!I bought this to compliment a 50s style dress and not having a clue about this kind of thing, I took a shot in the dark and ordered this one. I'M SO HAPPY I DID!This has the strongest Velcro I've ever encountered and boy does it give you a great waist! I'm a pretty large lady, but have a narrow waist and this accentuated it in EXACTLY the way I wanted it to! It is rigid enough to stay in place and not fold over when you sit down, yet it is the comfiest thing to wear! I felt secure and fitted, but there was no discomfort whatsoever! Usually, we women suffer for our outfits, but not with this! I bought the black one and my daughter has already borrowed it and I know we'll both both be buying more in a variety of colours! I bought the largest size and it fit me perfectly.I highly recommend this item! I LOVE IT!

Comfortable fit to complete outfit look

She's my new favourite belt- flattering, versatile, and goes with anything. The only caveat is something typical of all corsets in general- not a good idea for long periods of sitting down! I'm not knocking points for this, of course, just beware of the pain if you intend to use it for that purpose. I use it for exploring the city and briefly sitting, so, it's ideal.It's really stretchy, but also tight, so get your usual waist size and don't panic if you put on or lose some weight.I find this especially useful in alternative fashion or dressing Medieval, something about it just screams history and style. I'm aware that a proper corset would be more accurate but, who really has the money for those? This is cheap AND fun.And a protip- if you do wanna sit down for a while, try out an elastic belt with a metal clip on the front or back, it should be more comfy for sedentary activities :)

As other reviews have said this does come up on the small side, but because the laces are real you can unlace it to give yourself a bit more room. Very decent quality for the price and does a lovely job of sinching the waist.

I bought this for a promotional photoshoot and now it's become a part of my wardrobe. As comfortable as something like this can be (not made for relaxing!) Seems like it's made of good material and I'm not sure how much these things usually cost, but I was happy with the price.

Looks great from the front, but the giant velcro patch at the back kills it. Ordered a 14 being a 14, and it's not much of a cincher to be honest. Should have bought a 12 I guess, as the elastic is very stretchy and it pulls you in only very slightly. No match for a corset. Also, the velcro patch part really feels sharp on the corners.It's not awful, it's just not great. If you don't care about it being a big fat velcro affair at the rear which completely negates the need for the laces to be functional (at least if you buy at your own size) then you'll be fine, just order a size down if you want to cinch your waist.

Nothing wrong with this it was just too small. Possibly is true to size as I have put a little bit of weight on but still maybe order up so you can tighten it up.

Bought this as part of my daughters costume in her school play, it fit well and looked great for her character.Really cheap budget item that was worn just a couple of times for approx 4 hours total, it did the job I bought it for and was perfect for the play.You get what you pay for, I'm giving it 5 stars because it was perfect for what I purchased it for, however wouldn't recommend if you are looking for a nice quality item to go with your outfit, obviously the price speaks for itself!!
