Also fits a miele H809 double oven
My Miele H809 double oven is 20 years old and still works just fine apart from a broken glass lamp cover. The Miele one is really expensive and not readily available so I took a risk in purchasing this one. The shape is marginally different but it doesn't affect performance. The thread is exactly the same as the old Miele one(I thought/hoped it might be as its German)It was easy to fit and works perfectly. I only wish I'd ordered this when my lamp lens cover broke a few years ago. I now have a fully functional and usable oven again and it didn't cost the earth. I wished I'd bought 2 as the original one in my lower oven looks quite grubby in comparision to this one. Brilliant buy!

Perfect Fit
The oven cleaner had cracked the glass during the cleaning (first day on the job) - I'm pretty sure he was meant remove it when the oven was off ;-) . So needed a replacement as soon as possible. Arrived the next day and fitted perfectly in my Bosch Oven.

Fitted perfectly!
Broke my last one by trying to clean it with boiling water! They get so manky so quickly, and I've tried allsorts to clean it over the years-anyone tried putting one in a dishwasher every so often?So, I broke the old one, and I didn't want to use the oven without it, so ordered this one, it fits perfectly (Neff oven). I've ordered another, as it's only a matter of time before I break another, because you have to put so much turning force on them to remove even if you don't try the thermal stress cleaning method......

Well made lens cover.
Once the old lens cover had been removed, it had sheared off, leaving only the thread in place. Which had to be carefully removed with pliers. The new lens cover was easy to screw in , and with a new a bulb, the top oven is now illuminated once more.

Poor quality item.
The item arrived promptly but only after 1 day the oven bulb cover shattered. Contacted seller and apparently it’s the thread of my oven that’s the problem. As this is the second time I’ve had to replace the oven bulb cover but at least the first one lasted 7 months. This item is as much use as a chocolate fire guard. Going to buy a genuine part from Bosch.

New glass housing ordered as a spare
This was not needed by us in the end as we were finally able to unscrew our previous one without damaging it. It will be good as a spare for us though.
