Not entirely matt finish,still a slight sheen,but was o/k for me.
Goes a long way,as i use it on large canvases easy to apply & dries quickly .not completely matt finish.still has a slight sheen,so if you must have totally matt look elsewhere

Great varnish but not completely matt
The varnish is great and did over very nice but it has just that bit of shine to it. I'd really like it to be dead matte and this one is missing a few percent there, but if that's not an issue for you it's a great product.

Great finish!
I built a mini log cabin and I needed a matte finish varnish to cover the chimney so the airdry clay would be sealed. It worked perfectly and I used it on the whole cabin in the end. It wasn't glossy at all on the clay, stones or on the wood and was fairly quick to dry too. Very happy with the end result!
