I bought this for my mother last December but during the year she has had two accidents with it because the lid has come off of the pot when carrying it full of hot gravy. Luckily she wasn't scalded but the gravy went everywhere and took a lot of cleaning up. The first time, we thought that maybe she hadn't screwed the lid on tightly but after the second incident we inspected the thread. It seems to be just one complet rotation and I think that what happens is that if you turn it too far it jumps back to the beginning and is not screwed on although it appears to be so. We are not using the jug any more and I am writing this as a warning to others to amke sure that the lid is on tightly so that it doesn't happen to you. I hope the manufacturwer will review this aspect of their design and make improvements to it.

Brilliant Gravy Boat. Used this on Christmas day and it kept the gravy hot throughout the meal.

I neglected to look at the size. It is much smaller than I anticipated. The picture makes it look larger than it is. If it didn't come all the way from the UK to Canada, I would have returned it. Otherwise, it is nice and works well.

Der Soßenspender erfüllt alles zu 100 %. Die Thermofunktion ist einfach nur klasse, die Soße bleibt wirklich sehr sehr lange warm. Und zudem sieht der Spender auch sehr edel aus, optisch ein totaler hingucker. Und der Preis ist absolut in Ordnung. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen.

This insulated gravy boat was a fabulous addition to my Thanksgiving table! Not only was it made well and looked beautiful beautiful, it kept my gravy hot for the entire meal. This is a first and I have been making Thanksgiving dinners for 50 years. This was a great purchase and I highly recommend it to any cook that makes gravy. It would also be wonderful for any hot sauces or even heated pancake syrup. I know I will use it often.
