I could no longer hold my 10 month labrador with a harness. The minute she has the halter on she stops pulling. She walks on a loose lead and lets me stop to talk to people without pulling. She can still sniff about and pick up sticks while wearing it.. I cannot believe what a difference it has made. Two of my neighbours have been so impressed when we have met them that they plan to get a Gentle Leader too.

Our Kennel Club trainer recommend this product for an overly excited walker, our 9 month old Giant Schnauzer. It did not disappoint! We are currently training her to walk without pulling and it has been amazing, like walking with a completely different dog. 5 minutes clipped in, 1 minute unclipped until she learns. We looked at the similar product at the pet shop and price was over £20, so definitely get it here while on offer!

I like this gentle leader as it really works. It isn't difficult to use, if you read the instructions.It definitely stops our dog from pulling. However, it has started to rub the fur off across his muzzle.We have made sure that it fits snug enough, it's not too tight & not so loose that it rubs so, it would have been better if it had a bit of soft padding fitted across the muzzle.We have a young boxer so having used this, I would suggest a different version for their short soft muzzles.

It’s great! Would love it more if the muzzle loop was just a cm longer but as it is it still works brilliantly. My 13 month Mastiff puppy, who’s the size of a small pony, can’t pull and got used to it within 20 minutes. Walking is so much easier and safer as puppies tend to get excited and forget themselves and she’s now physically stronger than me. She has a beautiful nature and now we can walk safely no matter what exciting things we see on our adventures!!

I used size M successfully when the dog was a puppy, but size L for large dogs is not robust enough and snapped after a week of use.

The media could not be loaded.  My cain corso puppy started to really pull me as a result it was hard to walk him, saw this lead on line decided to give it a go as at £7 if it didn’t work it’s not a lot of money to waste,BUT it did work, he tried to get it off a couple of times, in the end after a few minutes he was walking lovely , no pulling at all, cannot recommend this lead enoughBrilliant brilliant brilliant

I had to do a review today, which is the first day I have ever used this leader. I read the reviews but I really did not believe that such such a simple piece of material could make such a difference. I have a 23 kg Labradoodle who literally drags me everywhere. I have got absolutely nowhere with training so I ordered this in a last attempt before having to spend a lot of money on more training. From the minute I put this on walking was amazing. At first she did not like it and was pawing at it but after 10 minutes, she pretty much got used to it, and we had the most amazing walk ever. I cannot recommend this to anyone with the dog that pulls.

Bought this as it was recommended by a trainer on YouTube called Joel Beckman. I've watched all of his content and he swears by this bit of kit for reactive dogs.Ordered it and it came quickly. Could not work it out so resorted to YT again and it didn't disappoint! Fitted it and took the mad Whippet out for a walk and followed Joel's instructions to the letter. It did the trick BUT, the 'clamp' under the chin kept on sliding down. It was as far from a clamp as you could possibly get! It was acting more as a decorative bit of black plastic than a clamp!So, contacted good old Amazon and arranged to return and replace it. Replacement came and I took the boy out straight away. The 'clamp' behaves in exactly the same way and the slightest bit of vibration from walking sees it slip down the strap? It is obviously some cheap tat from China that is just not up to the job.The best bit is, according to the instructions: "The clamp is the most technically advanced element of the Gentle Leader...." Is that right?! Not the 2 I've had I'm afraid!It also says: "...and is not designed to be repeatedly opened and closed. If put under habitual stress in this way, it is liable to break." So have I received a customer return perhaps? Because there's no way this should pass quality control.My advice would be to check the clamp action as soon as you get it!

We bought this to train and walk our mini golden doodle puppy since she was 4 months old, this is very gentle which gives her a lot of room to open her mouth eat or drink, but it also keeps her calm and accurately send her the message of where we want her to go but turning her head with it. Very happy with this product, it’s safe to our baby yet very effective

after getting used to it being on her muzzle, she walked perfectly without pulling, & there was a lot of slack in the leash

Excellent product but didn’t work for my dog because his snout is a little too small he kept getting out of it but I use this before on a golden retriever work perfectly
