As long as I don’t try to walk with them on they are fine. It’s recommended to be used for 15 mins at a time which is fine as they lose their oomph after that time. They go warm.They are also quite wide , would slide down if I stood up and walked. But sitting they are secure and do the job.

Works well but I’m 5’6 and a size 8 and it’s far too big for me and skids off. The Velcro should cover a wider area so more people can use it. Otherwise a brilliant idea

The model must either have tiny legs or a different design of the product.As you'll see from the pictures I attached, the design does not apply the cold to the top and bottom of the knee as it is too small and unsuitabley shaped for my body type.Furthermore the gel moves around so on first application i had to rejig the gel so that the side panels had something cool.If your pain is to the side of the patella or directly over it, this will be a great product for you (just watch the ice burn if applying over thin trousers!)If, like me, your condition impacts and inflames the surrounding tendons and muscles more than the joint itself, you will likely find the product does not offer sufficient coverage to the areas above and below the patella.Even when the leg is straight you will see the size of the product is not sufficient to reach these inflamed areas.UPDATE:The seller has kindly been in touch to refund my purchase so I'd like to add this edit to compliment their fast and positive customer service. Cant fault their response.

I bought this in June 2022 and gave a fairly negative review. But I want to update my review because I’ve put the product back into use after a total knee replacement and it’s been great. I put it on top of my leggings so it’s not too cold against my skin and that’s also made it a much more snug fit. So I now find it’s much better than the straight gel packs. If you’ve had a knee replacement I highly recommend it. My husband also uses it for his tennis elbow!Initial review:Having already bought a couple of Gelpacks, I decided to try this out because it looked like it would fit more snugly around the knee. However, maybe it's my knees, but it doesn't fit snugly. It's also far too cold to put directly onto the skin and doesn't come with a compression strap that helps dull the cold, which means I've had to put a thin cloth around my knee first before putting the ice pack on. I've now gone back to using my Gelpacks which are more versatile and comfortable.
