Absolutely fantastic. If you need your plantar fasciitis cured - buy this!!
Firstly I'm not their company sales rep and I haven't been paid to buy the product and write a glowing review.I've suffered really badly with plantar fasciitis for over a year and a half now without relief (I'm 42 years old). I bought a night splint that covered the whole back calf and foot with three velcrow straps. You will have seen the thing if you've done a search on Amazon under plantar fasciitis. Designed by Dr Frankenstein. Phenomenally uncomfortable - and I stuck at it and give it chance after chance. The longest I persevered with it was nearly two weeks. The thing was so uncomfortable it used to wake me up at night. However night splints are the cure as my heel never felt so good as when I had a night splint on. So the theory of resting your foot in the stretched position to allow the ligament to heal, is absolutely sound. So I continued my search and saw the Futuro night splint the subject of this review.I'm not being melodramatic but this thing has changed my life. I'm using the Futuro along with massage balls and calf stretches, but I can tell you this thing is the real deal. It is so comfortable and unrestrictive. Most of your foot is uncovered and it doesn't feel claustrophobic. Holds the foot in the stretched position really really well.I wish to God I'd bought this thing years ago, I probably would've been well cured of my plantar fasciitis by now.Would really really recommend this product.

Highly recommend...feels almost cured, pain subsided massively
After months of pain and bad walking getting worse until some days i could not walk at all. Swollen ankles and pain travelling all the way up my calf. i have done the recomended exersises etc from physio. Pain killers do not work, anti inflammatory creams do not work. Those daft support socks do not work. After 3 weeks of wearing this boot every night I have massive relief, It feels infact like an ALMOST CURE. After the first week the swelling in my ankle started to go down. The first week was hard to get used to it and i had broken sleep as I had to keep adjusting it as too tight or too loose but you find your own tightness . Sometimes i felt it needed to be tighter but it would give me a dead sensation in my foot!I wear this thing around the house, for watching tv and i even take it with me for work sitting down and the cinema.I stick some bed socks on to keep my feet warm as you cant wear any shoes or slippers with it.I highly recommend this. It was recommended by a friend who said roughly all of the above.I will continue to wear it until the Plantar fasciitis heals.Highly recommended. I hope the pain continues to subside !

Did not make any difference to me
After reading customer reviews I decided to buy Futuro foot support for my plantar fasciitis instead of Strassburg sock. Perhaps it is more comfortable to wear at nights, but I did not find it effective at all. Plus it slips out from toes area during the night and then the grip above ankle becomes loose too. After wearing it every night for 1 week there was no improvement in my condition, so it was a bit of waste of money. Would not recommend to buy, I am afraid.

A good product but uncomfortable to wear in bed
I bought this because my wife is suffering from Plantar Fasciitis at the moment and is desperate to find anything that can help provide relief and help recovery. When the item arrived believe it or not it took a while to work out how to correctly fit the support. Without the pictures on the packaging we probably wouldn't have fixed it correctly as the instructions provided are not very good.So first night and my wife wears the support in bed, be warned depending how you position yourself to sleep as my wife found it very uncomfortable and was aware of it throughout the night. That said over a period of a couple of days the support did seem to help her when she first got up int he morning. I'm guessing this is because it helps keep the tendon as it would be whilst standing without the stress so you don't get the tight painful feeling in you experience with Plantar Fasciitis. It's been a number of weeks now and my wife has stopped using it at night as she found the relief gained was out weighed by the discomfort of wearing it whilst she slept. She does use it from time to time in the evening to help relieve things but has looked to massage and foot insoles to help resolve the issue. All in all the product was as described, it's very well made with strong plastic supports and very good Velcro. I'd say it's worth a try for someone suffering but maybe take advice from others who have purchased the item to see the benefit. It would be extremely helpful to me if you hit the YES button if you liked my review or NO and a comment so I can improve future reviews.

Was sceptical at first...
Having been cursed with flat feet, I was aware I would be prone to plantar fasciitis in later age. I had put up with the burning heel at night but recently noticed that I had develop a bone spur on my ankle and getting up in the morning was agony. I'm only 44 and yet was hobbling around like a pensioner for the first hour of the day until the Achilles tendon had stretched. I was told this could cause more damage and that I should keep my foot flexed overnight to keep the tendon stretched. I bought this product because it looked less bulky than other products. It took a couple of nights to get it fitted in the right position for me and to get used to having something on my foot. Now that I have that sussed, I can happily say that the heel pain is minimal (I can now lie on my back without hanging my leg off the edge of the mattress) and I spring out of bed in the mornings with little or no discomfort at all.The only negative side to this product is that if it is very hot at night, your feet do swell and I found that I was woken up a couple of times because I couldn't feel my toes. But just loosening the foot strap a little sorted that out.I wore this product every night for about a week to stretch my Achilles tendon, now I probably wear it once every 2 or 3 days.
