I purchased this product, along with the shampoo and conditioner of the same brand, in an attempt to rescue my hair's condition. I was really struggling with coarse, brittle and dry hair, but this regime really helped to repair my hair. In terms of the serum alone, the smell is quite chemically, although not as strong as the shampoo so not as unpleasant. It is much lighter than other serums I have used, so I was able to apply it to wet hair, dry my hair and then apply some to extra dry areas, and smooth all over to give a bit more shine without my hair looking greasy! I would recommend this serum for use as a treatment plan, or alone as it is much better than other serums I have used which are much thicker and much more likely to lead to a greasy look.

2013- I have NEVER been so impressed with a hair product. I want to give you some back ground on my hair as I think it'd explain why I am so pleased. My hair is in the middle of my back and I'm trying to grow it more, it's recovering from being in dreadlocks for several years and bleached platinum blonde. Obviously I have trouble keeping the condition of my hair as good as I would like it to be, as well as being a single mum of four. I've tried a lot of the cheaper products on the market, anything up to £6. I dont usually spend a lot of money on me so making a jump to this product was huge for me. Feeling like it's paying off is hugely important. I have a natural frizz which I have had since having children nine years ago. I apply one squirt in a morning and once before bed / after shower. I wash my hair every other day and deep mask once a month and try to use as little heat on it as possible. The first time I applied this, and I've pondered the purchase for over a year; I looked in the mirror and thought 'is it better, don't be silly it always looks better when you put stuff on it'. It's basically an oil so your hair is GOING to look nicer straight away BUT its not sticky or greasy and doesn't interfere with styling your hair. After using it religiously for a week I can tell my hair is tamer, even after washing, I'm not 'starting over' every time I wash, I'm not being left with residual product in my hair meaning I don't want to use it one time to make allowances for whats already in my hair. I am SO impressed with how sleek it makes my hair look (not greasy-I cannot stress that enough as its something I HATE) I even applied it after my shower and didn't do anything else to my hair and it didn't look crazy which with my frizzyness I usually would. The product smells pleasant but couldn't describe it, its not a generic 'clean' smell or particularly floral but does remind me of both those things... (who cares about the smell when its doing such awesome things to my hair!) I've recommended this to my friends and family and my mum even commented on my hair last night as she knows its something I've been battling. Its obviously doing something others can see too! (SO HAPPY) To me, my hair is looking more lush, thicker, the colour is more vibrant and richer, overall my hair looks much more like the way it looked when I was a child and not as experimental. I will absolutely be buying this again and I'm even considering trying either one of the treatments or the shampoo / conditioner which is something... I will need to think a lot about first because of the cost. If I had a before photo I'd share it with you all. I genuinely cannot wait for the next few months and seeing how my hair improves through the summer. 2018 - lots has changed. I now suffer with thyroid issues and as part of trying to be healthier I stopped using all products with anything unnatural in them (including this) I had began reducing how much I use this product before as I had seen it rise in price by £10. Regrettably I’ve had to cut my waist long hair to a bob as my thyroid made it dry out / snap horribly. 2019 - ‘natural products’ weren’t working for me or my hair. Just spent £28 on this product after using a squirt in damp hair from the left over bottle. Praying they haven’t changed the formula as my hair is in even worse condition than when I first started using it. I probably won’t use it daily but will use it on damp hair. One squirt will be more than enough for long hair. Will update (also learnt I should read my own reviews). 🤦🏻‍♀️ 2024 - I haven't used this product since 2021 as I now work in a L'Oréal salon. Thyroid issues still ongoing, and I have been having full head foils for the last 3 years and have been trying 'professional products' to care for my hair. Hair is still long bob length. I've just placed an order once again for the GK Serum - simply no product that cares for my hair the way this does, and hopefully combining this with the colour wow dream coat is only going to mean good things. Will update in a couple of months as I have stopped having full head foils.

Arrived simply wrapped in bubble wrap( for this price expected to be in a branded box..) and the bottle was defective - cap on the top doesn’t pop back up because spring doesn’t work. Have to manually pop it back up by twisting and pulling up at the same time. Really uncomfortable to use. Overall disappointing!

This product is simply amazing. Not only is it great value it last for ages. One pump at a time is all that’s needed. It’s helped me tame those pesky greys and they stayed tamed all day. It’s not greasy and leaves my hair soft and shiny for days.

10ml is barely enough for one wash its way to small so we returned it, no point even selling a 10ml bottle and its super expensive too so sadly i cant reccomend this.

Improved the condition of my hair- it didn't make my hair greasy. It was quite expensive for the very small bottle, but it is a nice quality oil and a little went a long way.
