Highwild AR500 Steel Target for Shooting 1/2" Thick Gong Silhouette Metal Target - Laser Cut - Neon Color

I have 3 other 3/8” and one 1/2” hardened steel targets, and I cant help but notice how this one does not chip off as easily, even with green tips at 25 yards. It seems that the manufacturer took the extra time to harden the steel properly. The price to quality ratio of this product is what impressed me the most, so I’ll be ordering more to begin replacing my 3/8” targets which are beginning to crack around the neck area. These thicker and higher quality plates can definitely take much more beating without breaking the bank.

This works just how it’s described. It’s exactly as I expected. I’d recommend also getting some bright spray paint to hover up the art that got shot so that you can see the target after the paint comes off.

Used 22L, 9mm, 40mm, 45mm, 5.56 nato rounds. Plus 12 gauge slugs works perfectly. No damge on these metal targets.

I bought these targets for our shooting trips in the desert. We set them up about 150-175 yards away on a rocky hillside and the targets performed perfectly.They are a very bright neon yellowish green, so you can still see them when they are a ways out. The steel itself is very thick. Thick enough to take a ton of .308 shots and not even come close to denting.The paint, of course gets shot off but a new can of bright spray paint will fix that the next time we go shooting.The targets definitely have some weight to them so just be prepared to be out of breath if you are carrying them far out and up a steep hill! You definitely will get your cardio workout putting them up and retrieving them after you are done shooting.Pricewise, these were the best that I could find for this thickness of steel. We would definitely buy these again but probably won't need to, since they look to last for decades if kept out of the elements when storing.

Solid product. We hit it with anything from 17HMR to 300WM and took it like a champ.

It’s heavy, but I like it so far we will see if it holds up
