Excellent item, seller and instructions
I live in a flat that hasn't been renovated in decades and I have a very old Triton T80 model from the 70s/80s. The shower eventually died on me after 2 months of it stopping/starting at random. I had already done my research on the issue and knew it was probably the solenoid coil so I decided to order the part. It arrived within 2 days with very clear printed instructions from the Shower Doctor. I am not experienced with home repairs at all, but I felt that I knew what I had to do after watching the Shower Doctor videos on YouTube (I'm also a physicist which helps a bit building up confidence for electrical work). The only slightly difficult aspect of the repair was removing the old coil as mine was stuck, but I was able to pull it out slowly and carefully. The shower now works, but I noticed the water leak that probably caused the old coil to fail, so I have to look into fixing that too or the coil will fail again.

Simply excellent
Part arrived in record time. Really great instructions from the seller for the layman and easily fitted. Most importantly seems to have fixed the issue of my triton shower switching off after a couple of minutes.

Fiddle to replace original, but fixed the shower.
Symptom was Triton T80xr shower starting alright, but stopping after a minute or so. When this happens, the Low Pressure indicator LED turns on, but, confusingly, this is almost certainly because the shower has stopped, and is PROBABLY NOT THE CAUSE OF IT STOPPING! In other words, most probably the Low Pressure indication is just another symptom of the underlying problem, not the cause, which is likely to be the relay for which this item is a replacement, and which can be seen in its working location just to the left of the electrical entry in the annotated photo I've included. Replacement parts from Triton including the relay also include other bits which probably don't need replacing, and cost more than 5 times as much as this item. Before attempting its replacement, you should ensure that you know and understand enough to be able to do so safely!First, isolate the shower unit from both the electrical and water supplies. With the Triton T80xr, due to the awkwardness of its original design, you're probably going to find it easiest to physically disconnect both the electrical and water supplies, remove the shower unit from the wall, and take it to a suitable workbench. There you'll have to almost completely dismantle it before you can change the solenoid, then reassemble it again exactly as it was before, before remounting it and reconnecting to the supplies. BTW, getting the old solenoid off its spigot mount was quite tricky, I used a vice to hold it so I could pull on the rest of the assembly more easily. Finally you can turn on the supplies and test.My shower has worked perfectly since, over a month now.

Great product well worth the buy 👍
My shower stopped spraying water after a little research I figured it must be the solenoid a Plummer quoted me £270 to fix the problem but I decided to carry out the work myself this part comes with fairly easy to understand instructions and took me less than 5 minutes to fit, this saving me over £260. 5 stars for a great product.
