Rust-Oleum Chalky Furniture Paint Chalk White 750ml

A great chalk paint for furniture projects — easy to work with and gives gorgeous results. My dresser looks brand new. I used this Rust-Oleum chalk paint to upcycle an old pine dresser, and I’m so pleased with the results. It went on smoothly and gave great coverage, although it did need two coats to fully cover the wood grain — which I expected with lighter colours. The finish is a soft, classic matte white that looks clean and elegant. It really transformed the piece and gave it a lovely, fresh look. The paint dries quickly too, which made the whole process quick.

Having used Annie Sloan paint in the past for a few projects, I decided to give this a try because it had good reviews, was cheaper and available on prime which meant it would be with me quicker than any AS paint. I did like using this paint, and if I hadn't used the AS in the past, I'd have probably rated it 5 stars. I just found it didn't go as far as the AS paint did, so it didn't cover as well, and therefore I used more. One tin of AS did several pieces of furniture last time, but I have used almost all of this tin of rust-oleum on one bedding box. The AS mostly only needed one coat, whereas this needed two, and even three on some parts. However, I like the end result, the box looks loads better now. It had almost no smell at all so it was ideal for doing inside, and the feel of the finished paint is less chalky than the AS, although this won't matter once I've put a coat of wax on it. Overall I'd say it's a good quality paint, and ideal for small projects. If you have a big job on or several pieces then I'd suggest you go for the more expensive Annie Sloan paint as I think it will be better value for money.

Very easy to apply. Gets thicker the longer you are using it, so can be thinned down again with water and a quick stir. Used a whole tin on 10 cupboard doors and a fireplace. My fireplace needed around four coats. Cupboards around three. This is an inexpensive way to transform a home on a budget. It's brought life to my old fireplace that has bugged me since I moved in. And having peeled off the already worn and peeling green laminate from the kitchen cupboards, this paint has covered the remaining mdf doors beautifully. You need to work fairly quickly, and smooth it out in long paint strokes and it turns out great! I have ran out of paint and have many more cupboards to do, but this paint is very addictive and fun to transform old, worn out furniture!

This is the first time I've used chalk paint so didn't really know what to expect. I used it on my piano which was in desperate need of updating. I ended up using 2 coats because the wood was so dark and 1 coat just wasn't enough and I am so pleased with it. Before I started I just wiped the wood down with a damp cloth to remove any dust and that was it, no need to sand which was brilliant because I hate sanding and the paint is virtually odour free so was ideal as moving the piano outside would've been impossible. I used a mini wool roller to apply the paint rather than a foam one, finish was much better but a good quality brush would be equally as good. I finished it off with a coat of the finishing wax but was a bit worried when I started applying it because it looked as if it was removing the paint (which it wasn't!) but once it had dried it looked perfect and gives the paint a subtle sheen. I'll be using this paint again on some pine furniture I will be updating soon. Highly recommended.

J'ai repeint une petite table d'appoint en bois, déjà blanche mais qui avait besoin d'être rénovée. J'ai déjà utilisé cette peinture à la craie Rust Oleum d'une autre couleur pour des tabourets, Encre Bleu. Superbe. J'ai également acheté la cire de finition Rust Oleum. Indispensable à mon sens pour une belle finition, un beau rendu des couleurs et une protection des meubles. Cette peinture à la craie est de très bonne qualité, une belle crème facile à passer, bien couvrante. J'ai utilisé à chaque fois un mini rouleau en microfibres et en partie un petit pinceau.

Questa vernice è la panacea per gli hobbisti: non cola, non puzza, si stende facilmente, ha un'ottima resa, anche perché è sufficiente una mano sola per ottenere perfetta copertura, non serve essere esperti per stenderla bene e soprattutto si applica su qualsiasi superficie senza pretrattare o carteggiare. Finalmente si possono recuperare anche vecchi mobili laccati, con grande soddisfazione e risparmio - che in tempi di crisi non guasta. Questo è ciò che fanno tutte le chalk paint. Ho scelto questa marca in particolare perché costava meno di altre più note, non so dire se altre marche possano essere migliori o peggiori, ma di questa ne sono rimasto completamente soddisfatto, quindi credo che in futuro continuerò ad acquistare la stessa.

La compré para restaurar algún mueble que tenemos en casa y estoy contenta con el resultado. Para muebles claros es cubrirente y con una capa fue suficiente. Quizás para muebles más oscuros es necesario más manos. No hace falta decapante. Por ahora esta aguantando muy bien.

Bonne tenue et surtout sèche vite

Pacco arrivato integro e senza alcun problema. Vernice inodore, ottima per gli interni; resa alta (10 mq con mezza latta se volete una finitura stile “invecchiato”, altrimenti una intera per alta copertura). Dipinto una parete in legno esistente e cosa più importante senza carteggiare! La ricompreró sicuramente!!!
