Burgess Excel Nuggets with Mint Adult Rabbit Food, 4 kg

My rabbits started to pick out parts of their other (muesli) food so I knew I had to make the switch. Got the mint flavoured one - recommended by my vet.I was worried they wouldn't want to eat it, as it does look pretty boring compared to the colourful muesli food.However - they loved it immediately! At the first sniff of this new food they were very interested, and making the switch to this food was pretty painless.I started mixing in 1/3 of the new food with 2/3 of the old food, then gradually added more.They don't need much of this food - only 1-2 teaspoons per day. The main part of your rabbits diet should be hay. This is also written all over the packaging of the food which makes me trust it a lot more. Genuinely feels like the company cares about the welfare and health of your rabbit.Remember if you make any change to your rabbits diet you must do it gradually over 1-2 weeks.

The price is amazing for the amount you get, and my rabbits love them. However, I do still feed them in moderation, as pellets are not even an essential part of a rabbit's diet. The packet gives you the correct amount to give your rabbits, as well as reminds you every time you look at it to add hay and veg. The clear five steps are a nice reminder for rabbit owners how much care their little bunny needs.

I was very disappointed with a few of these i bought, but looks like packaging issues have been fixed, came intact and no rippage. Bunny loves these a lot, some store ones i bought smell so strongly of mint he wont eat them, these are just perfect!

I have a VERY picky eater who would rather go on hunger strike than even touch something she doesn't like. Unfortunately, the brand that we finally - and exhaustedly - found she liked has disappeared and no longer exists... Nightmare! So it was with some trepidation I bought this to try and... Straight away she went for it, happily munching away, adding a little binkey after stuffing her face!There's a much better smell to it than other bags we've tried, and the pellets are not as crumbly as others nor are they puffed up with air. The only drawback is that there's quite a bit of dust from broken pellets at the bottom of the bag, which she refuses to eat even though it's exactly the same stuff as the pellets, just no longer in pellet shape.

Amazing value for money, the bunnies love these, the bag is so huge we have to keep a smaller amount in a plastic tub. We rattle said tub with the nuggets in them to get the bunnies back in their hutch at night. They must taste good as they come bouncing back within seconds!

My bunny absolutely loves this! Its the only food where he will literally eat everything! Tried the Burgess excel rabbit food with mint, he liked it but wouldn't eat it all. This he can't get enough off. He never has a dodgy stomach with this food. It's great quality and value for money!

The Bunny seems to enjoy it, while making the transition the bunny actually eats the new food first and leaves the muesli to last.I have notice a huge difference in weight and fur of my pet, specially the fur is very soft and fluffy now.It's hard to find decent bunny even where I am, and this one is pretty decent, the best food I now of is from Bunny-Nature but its hard to find.The nuggets are very small, it can be mistaken by their poop.
