I like to purchase bulk short grain Japanese rice because it is much cheaper than constantly buying the small boxes of sushi rice from supermarkets. However, there was one time when we had an oil spill in the cupboard that ruined the rice, so I decided to buy this container to prevent that from happening again.I chose this container because the cheapest option for rice near me is a 10kg bag from my local Asian supermarket, and this container claims to fit up to 10kg of rice. Initially, I was concerned that it was getting very full near the end of filling it up, but it all fit just fine. The clasp feature on the side seems very sturdy, so hopefully it will keep the rice safe in case of any future spills.I noticed that when completely filled with rice, the container does push out a little from the front and back. This caused the lid to be a bit longer compared to the box when I tried to put it back on. However, I managed to get the lid back on fairly easily, and I believe once I have eaten some of the rice, this issue will resolve itself. As for the mouse scoop, I am not sure if it will fit back in while the container is full. I didn't make a strong effort to fit it back in, but burying the scoop in the rice a bit more may solve the problem.

Fits perfectly. Seems like it doesn't whole a full 10kg bag. But is good enough. Looks great in the kitchen.

I have been looking for a large container for rice for a while. Not particular fancy the very "plastic" looking ones. Came across this and thought good value and looks good.It's just right for a 5kg bag of rice. It provides very good seal, and looks smart. Would buy again.

It was packed really well, can’t fault them on that. Not sure about quality of item though. It does seem a lot of money for what it is. Plastic I think could break very easily, seen better quality for a lot cheaper. Was quite disappointed as I expected something better for the money.

I liked its size and quality

I purchased 2 of the large containers and 2 small. I have had these containers for nearly 9 months nor to hold, pasta (small containers) rice ( big container) and flour ( big container).I noticed a few weeks ago the rice had bugs in it and contacted the seller for them to tell me the container was not closed properly. It was. I am very particular about these things and ensure proper use. When inspecting the item the locking was not as tight as it was on the small containers as rice was coming out when I tipped it over. The seller was adamant of quality checks etc. But clearly there is a fault here. I don't expect to pay that much for one container for bugs to produce. Had to bin the rice. Also the plastic locking mechanism is rather flimsy. Good for a few months but definitely not long term. Very disappointed. Had to buy large glass jars to store my pasta and flour and rice and feel more at ease. Poor customer service and DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Been looking for a container to keep 2 bags of flour in and this is perfect, the mouse scoop is so cute and very handy. I have arthritic hands and this is so easy to open (use the clip ends to open) and is secure and air tight. Love this container, was well packaged and is well worth the money.

Wir nutzen den Behälter für Großpackungen von Nudeln - es passen etwa 5 kg Farfalle hinein.Der Behälter hat eine hochwertige Optik und scheint auch gut verarbeitet zu sein.Einziger Kritikpunkt bisher: Die Verschlussklappen sind nicht sicher befestigt und lösen sich zum Teil beim Öffnen. Da sie sich dann aber auch unproblematisch wieder einsetzen lassen, wäre das für mich kein Grund den Arikel nicht wieder zu kaufen.Ich habe den Behälter reduziert erworben, den Originalpreis finde ich schon eher hoch angesetzt aber noch ok.
