Awesome firepit that is smokeless.
I love my solo stove. The smokeless firepit has been really useful for my family. Whether I am hosting a BBQ or burning garden waste, it is highly effective. This is also beautiful to see the secondary burn and produces a lot of heat. The carry case that it comes with is really handy to transport and store you solo stove when not in use. It is easy to use and set up too and the stand makes sure your ground is not scorched. One of the things I used to hate is when smoke was emitted and made your cough or that the smell stuck on to your clothes.

Just brilliant
I'd been researching this for ages. Had bought other fire bowls but the heat underneath was always a great concern, killing grass or cracking a patio. I was also concerned about spending this much on yet another firebowl that would be no better than previous purchases . This design is excellent. Its easy to light, although still some smoke, very little compared to other products. It is possible to wear the same clothes again without a wash. You can even sit down wind without getting red eyes. The bottom remains cold, about 3 or 4degrees above ground temp. I could touch it no problem, even with internal temp 400c after 2 hours burning. The outer coating does not change colour. Its not that heavy, and well made. My only slight disappointment was that the colour called water looks blue in the advertising photos to me, but turned out to be grey. However the flames are brilliant and your not sitting by it to look at the outside. It puts out a lot of heat, easily getting 6 around the bonfire version. Its been used dozens of times and still in very good condition. You tend to get dirty hands cleaning it as in the uk it often rains overnight making the ash mucky to clean out. Not a design fault, but might make buying the lid more attractive, although the cost of the lid and other accessories is considerable. We love it. It gets through a lot of wood!

As Good as the Other Reviews Say
I bought a Mesa XL first, which I love and is great for camping or a couple sitting around, but couldn't resist upgrade my main fire pit to the larger Solo Bonfire - not cheap, but I don't regret it. It is by far the best fire we've ever had. It kicks out loads of heat, it's really easy to keep burning, and it is relatively smoke free other than the initial lighting as you'd expect.

Expensive, but great quality
Yup it is a costly fire pit, but if you like the contemporary looks and colours (we went for green), it works well as a smokeless unit once it has warmed up (approx. 15mins of smoke).

Truly Smokeless
We’ve all been there. You want a nice fire to compliment your outdoor gathering and get smoked out along with your neighbours too. However, this changes things. Once bedded in, it really is smokeless and gives off a load of heat too. Comes with the base ring which helps with sturdiness and it’s well made. Looks good too. Easy to clean and would thoroughly recommend.

Solo Stove Bonfire
I’ve had a few fire pits but this is the best by a long way. It gives off a lot of heat, but without the smoke. It’s expensive, but still a good buy.

Not quite as described.
Great fire pit. Uses a lot of wood though as no way to shut down the air vent and def not smokeless. Expensive for the above issues

I’ve been on the fence with buying one for over a year and finally pulled the trigger on a Bonfire. I am extremely impressed with the design and quality of the stove. The fire started up almost immediately with minimal kindling or tending to, burned so efficiently that there were no leftover chunks of coal the next morning, and it was smokeless enough that I went to bed wearing the same tshirt that I sat by the fire with, and didn’t bring the campfire smell inside with me AT ALL. I was nervous about the Bonfire being too small for store-bought firewood, but I had no issues to speak of. I would only suggest that you buy a spark screen and/or lid, as the sparks were shooting out fairly high, and you need to let the fire burn out completely, so a lid would offer some peace of mind if you’re trying to go to bed and there are still some hot coals in your solo stove. Yes, it’s a pricey investment, but it’s hands-down the best firepit on the market and an absolute gamechanger for our backyard

It’s really nice. Hardly no smoke, neighbours can not complain. Easy to start and really nicely made. Lots of heat
