3/8 Inch Cordless Ratchet Wrench 12V 40Ft-LBS High Torque, with 2x2.0AH Batteries & LED Light, Electric Power Ratchet for Automotive Repairs, Tight Spaces, and DIY Projects

Having ordered and received an excellent impact wrench from this same maker, I decided to try out their 3/8's ratchet at a VERY attractive price. Though I have not had a chance to test this tool, it has all of the same 'intrinsic' aspects of quality and serviceability that its larger brother has. My main purpose for this tool is for use on my Bridgeport mill to tighten and loosen the collet draw bolt; though it can be used for other purposes as well. It is compact and powerful for its size and appears to be fit for the intended purpose. The price was absolutely a bargain. I have several pneumatic ratchets but the air connection and supply can be a problem at times. Enter the battery operated ratchet. As with the other tools offered by this maker, the instructions that come with it are ridiculously small type font and useless. I have friend reprint the instructions with a reasonably readable type font. Not a major issue but one has to ask what is the point of including an operator's manual if it is not readable? This only a minor issue however, and should not dissuade anyone from purchasing this tool for useful work. It comes with a small assortment of sockets, two 12v batteries and a small charger, and a strong carrying case. Again, the batteries for this tool or its larger brother, the impact wrench, have no known source for replacement batteries; which I consider to be a major detractor and a deal killer for someone who really needs to have a reliable source for these spares. My use for the tool is for personal use only and not for a business -- I stress this important fact simply because a dead battery can come up at any time and become a money loser for someone earning a living supported by their tools.

Seems to be a good quality tool so far. The box and the packaging was quality work; the batteries charged and the tool works nicely. So far so good.

So far, I love this ratchet. Ive been using it for about a month. Ive had one battery die though and i dont know where to get new ones. I need more than 2

A co-worker let me borrow his to help speed up tooling change overs. I liked the ease of function. Build quality seems to be ok. The torque does lack a little bit. For what I use it for it will work. No big complaints.
