JOBSITE 5pc Impact Gun Ratchet Wrench Set 1/2" Drive 1010W 17,19,21,22mm 450nm Torque

The media could not be loaded.  Now, this impact wrench is by far the best thing I’ve ever brought, I needed a wrench to do my compact tractor tyres and I didn’t want to risk a cordless gun.Anyway it came in a huge case, very heavy and the gun is massive, I went to remove the nuts which were torqued way above and beyond and they removed like butter, my wrist went for a nice crack to, honestly at the price of £40 I can’t complain.Very good indeed, picture in review shows the size, but for it to come with a case, ton of sockets, im happy.Also included a video.

I had some impact guns before, which they could be adjusted, this one doesn't have any way to do such thing, it can torque to around 250nm but that’s all, not more, not less. Also, the seals don’t seem to hold the grease inside if used extensively. Also, the only switch present on the tool makes it difficult to use safely, as the reverse is on the same switch and if you don’t pay attention it will work the other way around. I wouldn’t recommend.

I'm 60 but still think I'm 21. However daft a decision I decided to change the brake discs and calipers on my beloved mk6 golf gtd. Rear brakes gave me no issues. Came to the front discs and I have to remove the brake caliper carriers because the new disc is double ventilated and oh dear I had serious problems. The caiper carriers are held in place with 2 x 21mm bolts torqued upto nearly 200nm and rusted in solid. This gun removed them easily. And not only saved my back, it made the whole job possible. Brilliant piece of kit at an affordable price. I would highly recommend.

I needed an impact wrench urgently and this tool didn't cost much more than the hire charge had one been available locally..... being mains powered also may have contributed to the lower price. As always I had read the reviews and neither the weight of the tool or the non-adjustable torque were not impediments. I don't know if this type of tool invariably comes with a decent case this one did.... and it has a long power cord. However, as I've implied, I had a particularly problematic nut to 'crack' and this answered my need....don't know when or even if I'll ever use it again.

Good product for the money, very solid and powerful

I bought this to remove the brake calipers from my 1971 VW Bay Window. Pretty sure the calipers had not been removed since new and were well and truly stuck. After using cans of penetrating oil, bashing my knuckles I decided enough was enough! At first I was concerned about the price but when you think this is about what you pay for an hours labour in a garage it seems like a bargain! Released the bolts immediately and without issues. Fantastic addition to my tool collection!

Heavier, and bigger than expected.Unfortunately also not that powerful as advertised.Device is corded, so no need to wait for the charger, I can use it immediately.Unfortunately, because of the size and weight, most often it cannot be used.In fact it would be good to have something smaller too - ideally also corded.

Bought this for one task which it performed with consummate ease. It is very heavy and appears solidly made and hopefully will out perform/last a cordless one (the main reason for selecting this item) I suspect one would have to be prepared to stump up a fair sum to get the same results from cordless. Having to work with a cable has proved no issue. Now jobs which had otherwise appeared daunting are relished. Would definitely recommend this product.
