Sturdy and useful
I recently had major surgery and was struggling to shower because I couldn't stand up long enough-this makes it far easier and more comfortable. Even as a plus-size person, this felt perfectly stable and safe in the shower. It doesn't look particularly glamorous, it's very NHS utilitarian in style, but it's well worth buying if you need a seated shower.

Does the job, for a small outlay
Some assembly required, but it works fine and is a very reasonable price.Easy to dismantle for storage ( we bought it for an occasional guest who benefits from having a shower stool)It is quite bulky in the shower, so make sure you measure your space first.

Check dimensions
Broke my leg and bought this so I could sit in bath for shower, was easy to put together and to adjust height but the legs were a little bit too big for it to fit in bath correctly, used it once but didn't feel safe for this reason so got something else instead.The stool I keep in my spare room to use at my desk, it's sturdy on flat surface, just didn't fit my bath

Not for long term use
If you are someone who could get easily injured be careful. I was in the shower and the centre screw fell out and the bar had bent and started to split, this resulted in the legs to become very unstable and unsafe. Before I had this issue this seat was very sturdy and held me well as (in the weight limit) wider human. The anti slip pattern on the seat can be difficult to clean if you don't have the correct cleaning products
