Usable, snags easy
Pro and con it's not dense, snags easy but still doesn't feel cheap. Worth it for the price. Cleans easy, though I'd make sure the ends are knotted well.

warm as youd want
perfect as a mask in cold or dust, or a scarf, or a head wrap dipped in water. A useful tool

Def wash before wearing
Before purchasing, I noticed someone advised to wash before wearing which I'd say was solid advice. I ordered the red/black one and as soon as I took it out of the packaging I was a bit let down by how coarse it felt. I then remembered to wash it, which I did with Charlie's soap and rinsed with a vinegar/water mix, and then again with essential oil/water mix. When I rinsed it, a lot of dye was released (so maybe don't wash this with other clothes until it's been washed a few times to help release all the latent dye). After drying, it was considerably softer. Color was as expected, blood red/maroon when it blends with black in the borders. Good size. All the loose fabric on the edges has been tied into knots, which wasn't the case on a shemagh I'd been gifted in the past. Also, my old shemagh has the tassels/tied loose fabric on all four edges, whereas this one only has the tassels on two edges.

Colors may not be as advertised
Overall quality is good, but the color of the green (foliage) scarf is wildly different than pictured. It the images, it's a subdued green closer to "OD green" and in reality it is much brighter and lighter, closer to a lime green.
