Perfect for a variety of uses, except that it does come as small granules, instead of a finer powder as suggested. However it still dissolves fine and could probably be crushed up if you really needed it as a fine powder.

This is a good product at an excellent price. I used it in conjunction with pectin from the same supplier to aid the setting of jam made from fruits low in pectin. I used these in the recommended proportions and found that not only did the jam set easily and faster but the flavour was greatly improved.

Adds sour flavour to food and also acts as a shelf life extender. I used it both within homemade gummy bears and for 'sour sanding' (with granulated sugar) on the outside and the results were outstanding.

I bought this mainly because the photo showed that the citric acid came in a pot to store it in. The weight of the contents meant nothing to me, quite frankly as I thought that it looked as if the container was of a size to buy a bag of citric acid and put it in the pot later.There must only be a couple of tablespoons in this one and for £6 , definitely not worth the price!Will not be buying from this company again
