I am not sure if all of the glue guns will do this, but this particular one in the set heated up so much that it started melting the surrounding plastic of the gun. Not only did hot plastic get on my students, but the glue stick oozed hot glue out of the wrong areas. This is extremely unsafe and I either want a new set from a different batch, or a refund. I can't believe this was marketed for children. My kids were smart enough to put it down, but this could have ended up so much worse. If you look at the photo you can see all the way through to the orange plunger from the front, and you can see that the plastic was oozing and melting down the side. Unbelievable.

Quality of item was fine. Immensely gorgeous packaging. Notably speedy dispatch.

Do not by these they when it is left plugged in to long it melts the gun and the metal part comes out. They are a hazard and not worth the money.These did not work for my Art students If I could give a 0 rating for these I would

3 out of the four glue guns did not work. Very disappointed.

The gun tip melted on first time use. This is cheapest lowest quality product I bought here at Amazon.

I would not recommend these glue guns to anybody. see my photo. I used it today. and the outer case melted. They should be taken off the market immediately. I got a case of them for the classes that I teach at the senior center but I will be tossing all of them in the garbage. Yes, I did get a full refund. I use this clue gun like I would any other glue gun. I never had anything like this happened to me before.

For the price, I suppose I should be happy i got anything. The cables are way too short, and the little kickstands have to be installed, or should I say, "Bent." Once bent, the guns really don't stand up very well.
