Makita DC18RD 14.4V to 18V Li-ion LXT Twin Port Charger

The charger feels well made and has a nice weight to it. It's also handy to have a USB port on the front. The one thing I struggled with was figuring out how to get the charger to play different melodies upon charging. in case your wondering, here's how to do it.. simply insert a battery, and then within 5 seconds take it out and reinset it. You can choose between silent mode, beep, and a selection of classical favourites.. Happy charging!

Great battery charger, unfortunately ours was taken by a tradie doing work in the house, by accident! a necessity for Makita products.

This works very well - it can charge one or two batteries independently and different images at the same time, although I'm not sure this is a good idea. Quick charging and no issues. It needs a case, though, so I am going to have to buy one of those. Why does it not come with a case???

This is a must have even as a keen diyer! Often found that I would end up waiting for a battery to charge but with this you can use one and get two on charge ready to go and keep going. I didn't think I would ever need this as would think it's more of a professional need but it really did help me when doing large projects. Great investment

Twin charger for the Makita batteries. Well made. Purchased for my new drill, jigsaw and two 4 ah lithium batteries from other suppliers. Expensive stuff but it is great quality and should last for years. Quite a large charging unit than I expected but otherwise great! Twin charger . It charges both batteries and then shuts down to idle when fully charges. Will keep my batteries in tip top condition. Always ready for action!

Charges the batteries (supplied separately) quickly. Lack of documentation: instructions in the form of very small diagrams are printed on the device but are somewhat ambiguous so only four stars from me…

This Makita twin charger is very well built and dose the job as you would expect. It's a heavy bit of kit. Charger pulls about 500w charging two battery's, I charge from solar so it's free. It's fan cooled. All round a great charger.

Makita products are not cheap but they are excellent quality, and do the job. This charger makes it easy to slide the battery in, charges quickly, and is solid (heavier than the other chargers). I discarded aother charer because I had to struggle to slide the battery in, then it would not hold the battery so I had to keep pushing the battery in to get it fully charged. This charger is fast and very reliable. Well worth the cost.

A ver, si hay que ponerle una pega es que el ventilador del cargador hace un poco de ruido, pero a su vez es bueno xq es un indicador para saber cuándo está totalmente cargada, también decir que cuando esta totalmente cargada deja de pasar corriente a las baterías que es un punto a favor.
