Well, I liked it, and my son is now never ever angry, so something worked!
I didn't read any of it to my stroppy, slightly thuggish youngster, even though he loved volcanoes at the time, nor did I give him any of the exercises to do, but I read it, I took it all in and naturally filtered it's teachings through to him in my own way and sure enough (years later) he is now a gentle, calm and balanced teenager, he never gets angry or physical, as his intelligence and humour get him through everything, I guess that is proof of something!!! Amazing to think back to how much I used to worry!

Interesting
As a newly qualified teacher within special educational needs, I ordered this so I help a student who was finding their anger difficult to control. This book came with lesson plans and templates as well as tips on how to deliver the lesson.I found it great use when working in secondary mainstream and even use it not that I’ve moved into Primary SEN.

This is a very informative book but seems to be more geared up for the school environment. Lots of practical advice but more for a teachers use I would say.

Excellent practical book for professionals, children and parents
I have bought so many of these books to give to workers, parents and children alike over the years. It is very practical and well planned; and after spending twenty years working with angry children in this country and abroad the use of drawing is so much better than any spoken form of therapy with children.

love this book
love this book, lovely activities to help children become aware of, understand and work with their anger to acknowledge and express it in a more positive way.
