Its a great product but it requires to be applied with skill and only for certain people.1. You will NEED HAIR on your head! If you have not enough , this will create an effect of an "ashtray dipped head" and will look awful to say the least XD. ( My pal with less hair than me tried , and we had a lot of laugh with the result )This works for me because I still have a hair, only thin. It does great job thickening them , but it won't produce hair !2.You will need fixer spray ! Dont skip this ! Or you might be up for embarasing surprise ...3. Colour is great and the way this behaves is awesome . Cycling Jogging Walking , light rain and strong wind no problem!4. Surprise - you can actually brush and comb yer hair ! however buy a pro comb - they are ANTISTATIC!! IMPORTANT.5, I would say your hair would need to be longer 5-10cm at least (or longer ) - then the effects are better , very short men hairstyles might not create enough "foundation" to allow the fibres to anchor themselves properly.6.dont put too much , this is a concealer not alternative to real hair :) It WON'T produce hairs . It will only make you look awful if you overdose .....

This is really quite amazing stuff. I have andro-genetic alopecia and was finding it really hot wearing hats over the summer. I bought this along with Restrand hair building spray to try them both. Restrand I found ridiculously messy and difficult to put on. This stuff on the other hand was super easy and quick to apply. Its like a little salt shaker which you shake over your head where your hair is thinning or have bald patches.You can build it up to your desired density. I think it takes me only about 3 minutes to put on and it stays on throughout the day - through wind and even when I got caught in the rain. It looks completely natural and people can never tell unless their eyes are right beside the top of my head (which is never).The only downside is that it can be slightly messy and creates a kind of dust over my sink. Apparently the Toppix applicator is meant to minimize this and make putting it on more precise although I haven't tried it yet.I would strongly recommend this to anyone who suffers from alopecia or other forms of hair loss.

I had an original Toppik before this one, and I must say it was quite different. This one looks more like a pownder while the other one looked like tiny rectangules more acquinted to hair. I can use it, but I wouldn't say it is original unless the brand has changed the formula for it.

Good product, deals with my thin bald patch, not big but still makes me paranoid. Just a light dusting comes in a salt shaker, has tiny holes. Use sparingly, does a very good job disguising balding areas. I use only on a small patch( about 2p size). Just make sure you use one that matches your hair colour. I used black, but somehow it seems a tad darker than my actual hair. But not to bad. I would like a little dark brown added would make it perfect. I use it with the same brand hair spray, just use it on area I worked on, the spray holds every thing in place.All in all I am really quite impressed, takes a minute or two do and gives a huge boost of confidence. I know thinning hair is not the end of the world.. but if you’ve always been known as the guy with the good hair.. this pretty much helps continue that. ;-)

REASON FOR PURCHASEI have male pattern baldness at the top of my head which was making me feel very self concious. Tried minoxidil but didn't really notice any effects after sustained use for a year. After seeing a few videos Toppik online I decided to give it a go, half expecting it to work.PRODUCTTo my amazement this product actually works. Sprinkle the fine fibre over the area in affected immediately it covers the baldness. It works by sticking to the existing (thining) hair and adds volume.FURTHER NOTEPlease note that for this product to fully work and stick, you will need to buy the Toppik fibre hold spray (or equivalent) otherwise the fibres will just fall out (this is not mentioned in the product description).VERDICTBy using the two products together the result is amazing and does the job! On the touch It feels like you have just used hair spray. It will not blow off in wind. It will not run in light rain, although on drying it will firm up again. Does not rub off whilst in bed. Lasts up to 2/3 days depending on how often you wash your hair.Confidence back... will use again, and would highly reccomend.

I use Toppik as a useful tool for some of my barber clients. I like how small the container is and the product itself is a natural looking hair enhancement which is preferred by some of my clients over dye-based alternatives.

I've bought this for my grandad who's balding, but still has enough hair to cover up his head. Figured this would make the cover up easier. Small bottle, 12g for 20 quid is a bit pricey, but doesn't matter. Used it and in the dark it looked okay-ish. However, when walked out in the light, it looked like it just didn't belong there. The black color definitely was right, but the contents left my grandad's head irritated and in patches, glued to the scalp rather than to the grey/small hair. He washed it out and with it, he ended up even losing some of his own hairs. The head has been itching for the last 5 hours, even with the product seemingly washed out. Checked the contents, he is not allergic to any of them. Disappointed with the product.
