Joseph Joseph Slice and Sharpen Knives with 6 Inch Chef's Knife and 3.5 Inch Paring Knife - Black/Red

After having used blunt knives for a long while I managed to cut my finger on first use of these sharp knives - entirely my fault! I am used to them now and very pleased with them. I particularly like the safety cases which means no worry if they are left out in the kitchen. They were a good buy at a reasonable price.

Great knives that come in their own sheaths with a knife sharpener. So far they're doing a good job and are my go to knives for all types of chopping and slicing. With the kids about its great that they come in sheaths to protect little fingers that rummage through drawers...

I've bought this set twice. They come with a sharpener and a safety case to keep them in which is great as they are kept loose in a drawer. These knives are sharp, superb value for money and look chic too.

These knives are exactly as advertised in terms of what they look like and they do chop veg just fine. I like all the features, and they feel well made, though I've only had them for a few weeks.However, they are not very sharp. Compared to my small Victory Nox steak knives, these don't compare new, or used a bit and then sharpened. When I cut soft/tough stuff like slightly over ripe tomatoes these knives, new never mind used, don't do a great job so I still get out a steak knife to keep those type of chopping jobs tidy and to prevent the veg from mashing.

These are absolutely brilliant. Very sharp knives with a built in knife sharpener on the sheath. The only downside is that it leaves the question of where to store them. They just end up lying on the kitchen side. If the backing was magnetic they could be out onto the fridge! Other half loves cooking and was very happy with these, and he's a bit snobbish sometimes!

I’m fussy about my knives. I have several and sharpen them all in one sitting.I loved the fact that these two have sharpeners in the covers so it is so easy to swipe them and top up the edge without having to get the sharpener out. I’ve stopped using all the rest of my knives. These two have surpassed the rest.

I love these knives. Not sure if I’ve had bad ones for so long or these are that amazing but they’re easy to clean, easy to grip, cut anything as if through butter and are easy to transport due to the holders they sit in. My favourite purchase recently
