Great alarm
Works really well. Fits the smaller disc holes that my other disc lock won't. It's bright and easily visible. Do buy a reminder cable as it doesn't include one. You get spare batteries (6 small cell batteries) and an alan key to open the battery hatch. To arm it you just line up a hole and push the key lock in. I recommend a squirt of WD40 before using to lubricant the pin and lock button. When it arms you get 5 seconds to get clear and you're good to go. If it's moved you get 3 loud beeps then the next movement sets off a loud continuous alarm. As for wind (people's usual concern).... It has only gone off in 3 beep warning mode once - in a "named" storm where the bins were blowing down the road and trees were falling over! The main alarm didn't trigger but it would me and the neighbours up...buuuuuuut... This was exceptionally violent weather! The bike cover was bashing against it. Since then we've have heavy rain and storms and it's been just fine. Some day it isn't sensitive enough but I can vouch that it is plenty sensitive. I know this because I set off myself having failed to install in one smooth go because I was unwell and lacking coordination LOL You set off the warning beeps by the very touch of the key in the lock so, yes, it works! The only downside is I wish the arming and unlocking beeps weren't as loud as the alarm...I always feel guilty taking it off at 6am ...beeeep! This does mean that people watching your bike from a distance know you're arming an alarm which I guess is a good thing really. Best location to fit when covered is tucked away just behind your rear brake (to avoid covers activating). Best location to fit uncovered is probably front disc with reminder cable on your bar end for visibility. Would have been nice to be flouro yellow instead of plain yellow. Maybe some reflective paint would be good to. Really good product... With the money!

Loud lock
Good quality product at a fair price. Loud enough to send any would be bike theif running. An excellent deterrent and easy to use/fit.

Fantastic value, great product.
I just bought a new motorcycle that is considerably more valuable than the last one, and so I wanted to step up my security. I already use a chain on the back wheel, so using this disc lock allows me to lock both wheels, and so far the bike has been safe, both garaged and publicly parked. It's a simple design and easy to use. It has taken me a little while to learn to put it on last, and take it off first, as I have set it off by mistake while loading and unloading the top box, and putting the chain on and off. It doesn't go off at every husk of wind, but it is reassuring to know that it will sense bigger knocks. The alarm is suitably loud, and when stood right next to it it's quite ear-splitting and irritating, as it should be. The beep on locking lets you know it's working. The colour is also a useful design feature as draws attention to the device. As I have only owned for a few weeks, I'm not sure how long the batteries last but I like that it comes with a spare battery and key for backup. Would recommend, and the price is fantastic value for such a great product.

Very good value for money, does it's job.
Very decent product. Used my old one for 2 years and it was fine for 18 months before it started to have some battery related issues. Swapped out the battery and I must've knocked the motion sensor when taking it apart because it started freaking out and clicking/beeping randomly and no longer motion sensitive. Functioned fine as a disc lock beyond those 18 months and I've just bought another one to replace it. I'd consider it very good value for money though and would recommend it. The only criticism I have is that it occasionally was set off by heavy rain and I had to run outside in a storm to disconnect it before it woke up the entire street! It's very loud and sensitive to any movement on the bike.

Love This Thing
UPDATE: The batteries didn't last too long. By the time I had to replace them I misplaced the spare set and the tool. So now I don't use it anymore. I used it primarialy for the alarm so I can look out my window if it goes off. I am now trying to find replacement battiers! Whoever is talking of 15 year battery life is incorrect! --- This alarm is great. Secure it on and then if someone touches it it gives off a few loud warning BEEPS and then if someone touches it again within 15 seconds the alarm goes off. It is 2 in 1 - it is the alarm and the physical device locked to the brake pad. I first though it needed to fit those little holes in the brake pad so worried about sizes etc. This thing fits into any gap on the brake pad. I think the alarm works off the metal contact from the brake pad to the actual alarm. I once was messing with the back tyre and it BEEP'd haha. It is loud but not too loud. It is def a deterrent to people fiddling around. Cheap and quality also.

Not secure at all, but easy to use and nice design.
I have to be honest here, I love the look of the lock and the ease of using it. Truly all nice with what feels like a solid key lock etc. however it simply hasn't been designed to prevent an actual attack. The lock was delivered to me on the 27th June, and 1 week later my bike was stolen with the only remnants being this left as scrap in the street. As I said, love the design and ease of use, but clearly doesn't provide any real security. This is because it was stolen in the middle of the day on a very public road (many pedestrians and cars). Only a thief who could get the security off VERY quickly would attempt to steal the bike in this scenario. Shame, but will be requesting a refund and I can only recommend going with something a lot stronger (and get a GPS tracker!).
