Great guitar!
Could not have bought a better beginner guitar. If you want something, cheap, good quality and a great start: you should buy this. I still use it today, its lasted a very long time and has a pretty strong durability (only a few scratches from bumps but nothing major) The factory strings lasted a good amount of time but personally I'd recommend replacing factory strings quite soon because the tone is quite bad usually. The tuneability is brilliant, i left this for a few weeks standing and it was still mostly in tune. The playability is great its a very comfortable, mellow sounding guitar. Would recommend to all beginners if I could.

Worth Every Penny
Purchased this for my 40yr old son who said he wanted to learn the guitar, I've had guitars most of my life so I thought I'd better take a look on Amazon and decided on this one. After the guitar was delivered I gave it a good inspection and couldn't find anything wrong with it. The strings were quite loose so I gave it a tune up and was pleasantly surprised at how good this guitar sounded. I then checked the action which is the distance between the underside of the 1st and 6th string to the top of the fretboard at the 12th fret, and according to the spec on Yamaha website found the measurements to be absolutely spot on which was a surprise considering the price. Most new guitars need a bit of tweeking with the action but this was correct right out of the box. I then checked the intonation at the 12th fret and the 2nd fret and was absolutely gobsmacked at how accurate it was, all along the fretboard. The fretboard seemed a bit dry so I rubbed on some lemon oil specifically for guitar necks and it brought out the grain in the wood and made it look like a more expensive guitar. I thought the strings were a bit on the heavy side for a beginner being 12-52, so I changed them for a set of D'Addario 10-47 which are a lot easier on the fingers. In my opinion of owning various guitars and doing all my own setups I can honestly say that this guitar must be one of the best for beginners and experienced guitarist alike, it definitely puts my very expensive Taylor to shame. This guitar is good straight out of the box, but with a little bit of a setup you can turn it into a great, easy to play guitar. Bought the natural colour as it gives a more brighter sound than the darker coloured one. Hope this helps.
