Camera holster
This is a game changer for me as I hate the camera hanging around my neck. This keeps it at waist level out of the way, I love it.

Awesome product just wish it was made of stronger stuff
If you own a dslr camera or film gear, you know how tiring it gets holding onto it for long periods. How sour your neck gets from a long festival or event, but you also want to ensure your gear is secure from theft and trust me that always happens. That's why I bought this item and it's why you're looking at it too. Do i recommend getting it? Short answer yes but i have to recognise the fault with it which is why it's a short term purchase. For the price it's awesome. It fits nice and snug on the waist and suitable for any belt size. The screw thread attachment that connects to the camera is metal so it's strong and won't corrode so it's built to last. It even slides in and out of the holster easily but i just wished the holster was as durable. Though it's never broken the locking mechanism has bent before and nearly caused the camera to fall out several times. In addition i can imagine if walking through a tight crowd that the holster could snap off the belt. It's the only reason why i haven't given it a full 5 stars. If you're starting out by all means purchase it but if you're willing to spend an extra £15 definitely buy a version with a metal holster.

Good investment at the price and just strong enough. Worth a try.
This really worked well for me and is a steal at the price. I have used it over several days for a few months and it shows no sign of wear so far with a D-SLR with heavy telephoto lens.As per other reviews the lack of ability to lock the catch open is an annoyance. Although I was able to develop some sleight of hand that enabled me to get it out one-handed, normally you would need two hands, with the left hand reaching across to get at the release and lifting the camera out with the right, or the left releasing the catch and the right reaching across for the camera, due to the orientation of the release lever.I McGyvered a long strap by clipping another strap to my standard one, but it looks naff and I would recommend obtaining a decent strap of the correct length.

SECURITY CLIP MALFUNCTION
Giood product but security clip failed after 2 weeks means it is to easy for the camera to drop out. Currenty having to check this manually every time used.

Not worth it
I bought it 2 months ago and I did like the product but after using it only few times it’s lock broken. Now it does not secure the camera. DisappointedThere is no option to replace it or refund it.Wish they have made it bit better quality to last at least a year

very useful and easy to use product
I saw this in use and immediately wanted to buy for myself. It is a well designed and sturdy product. It is easy to sit the camera into the holder and it is very securely held by the locking mechanism which is also easy to release. The only downside is that it uses the camera's tripod mount so you would have to remove the fitting to fix on a tripod. Warning: make sure the pin on the camera is firmed threshed into place - one of my cameras dropped when the pin loosened itself on a walk!

Made from plastic, watch your eyecup!
Manufacture: The camera attachment is made from steel and the belt holder from black plastic. It ts not small, it is certainly the size of the palm of my hand. The Good: It is very convenient. Your camera will rest very snugly on your hip. The camera engages very easy with a nice positive "click" and it remains latched in until you press a small lever to unlock it.The Bad: the way the camera rests on your leg it is possible to dislodge your eye-cup. I did. Boo Hoo. Of more concern is the steel ball attachment that screws into your camera can unscrew. I caught it about two twists from falling out!!! very definitely not good. It does come with a mechanism to attach it more firmly - but I recommend against trusting a finger-tight twist. The OK: I am sure the plastic that holds it onto your belt is strong its just that in the end it is plastic - and do you really want to trust an expensive camera to plastic. It takes getting used to - you have to remember your camera is on your hip so more likely to brush off people and things.Verdict: I am happy with mine. Its a fair price for what it is. It is definitely convenient. And for me it is more comfortable than a neck strap.

I absolutely love this belt clip system for my camera
I absolutely love this belt clip system for my camera. I had to photograph a friends wedding and like to take two cameras. Having one camera let alone two hurts my neck so this was a great way to have one camera I could get to quickly that wasn't hung round my neck. I often don't take my camera out as having it around my neck is a pain. Now I have this I will be taking g my camera out with me a lot more. This camera belt clip was really cheap compaired to some but I was not worried about my camera falling at all. Excellent value for money.
