As a dog walker I have this as an added protection for me and the dog(s). It is unfortunate but attacks on dog walkers is on the up so I have to make sure I can have some sort of defence. This is a good option. I hope I will not need to use it it will be a useful first line of defence. Of course I have not yet tried to use it but what I can say it arrived very quickly and it fits easy in the pockets of my vest so I can easily reach it.

Bought this for my wife a year ago when dogs were being stolen during lockdown - gave her good confidence whilst out walking. After 12 months of not being used I decided to test it for “fun” - well, 4 days later and my hands and arms are still well covered. I look like I’ve tried to murder a muppet character. I do a lot of dog walking, often in the woods or along very quiet parks and outdoor areas. Sometimes I hardly see a soul, but there are times too that I feel a little vulnerable. Having this spray in my pocket helps and provides me with that little bit of reassurance if I needed to use it if I felt threatened.

Item came as if it had already been used and it was dirty and the plastic was broken. The spray luckily still works as I brought it to take on a trip with me in a couple days. Disappointed but only giving 3 stars because it works and came on time.

I bought this spray after hearing about dog snatchers in our area . It is small enough to carry in my pocket . A friend who is blind picked it up thinking that it was anti bacterial hand soap and sprayed their hands with it. While they did not come to any harm and we appreciated the joke, it is unfortunate that it does not come with a lid or some form of safety device to prevent it spraying immediately on decompressing it. We also discovered that it only stains your hands for two days not the seven that are claimed . However it would still help in a difficult situation

I have not and hopefully will not ever need to use this item, it was purchased because 3 days ago we had a stabbing just 20 foot away from our front door. The police said that this type of spray was one of the best to have to hand after they had reviewed our camera footage.
