I loved it...why am i using past tense because you need to take care were and what you store them with...mine got super mouldy after it was washed not dried properly and seasoned....and was left in same press as potatoes was stored...so yup, gutted...take propper care or you will be buying another one like me lol

Used a bamboo steamer for the first time and it was easy to use and easy to clean. I made bao buns and lined them with baking paper to protect the bamboo. The two tier basket was helpful in batch cooking and cooked the buns to perfection. The basket is sturdy but I am unsure how long it was last due to bamboo already detached in some corners. Worth the price paid for next day delivery to satisfy my craving for delicious bao buns filled with Korean style chicken 🤤

one of the cheapest at this size. Decently made, bamboo strips are held together with with very small dowels (toothpicks?) and thin slivers of bamboo 'lacing'. Bought primarily as a test for my 6 ltr pressure king pro and fits inside perfectly. Unfortunately the toothpicks aren't glued in at all and had to push a couple back in, washed and soaked for 30 seconds, which swelled up the wood and tightened them but i'll see how they fare and if they come loose again, I think a dab of titebond 3 glue or similar will help. Bought some cheap food safe silicon mesh (sold as chip trays) and cut circles out of the correct size to use as inserts. Made some lovely steamed jasmine rice. Overall impressed.

Absolutely love this thing! It's big enough with multiple layers that you can cook most of a meal in one session of steaming (I tend to use one layer for veggies and the other for fish). Fabulous for dumplings as well. Nice and easy to clean, just make sure you lay either baking paper or even lettuce leaves at the bottom of each section when cooking. Stops pesky bits of food getting stuck in the gaps. All you have to do then is rinse and dry!

Purchased for steamed buns. I can get 4 small buns in each layer. They cooked well and were easy to lift out as I used parchment paper. Overall the bamboo is good although a little split near the handle It's exactly what I wanted. I do find it a little tricky to stack & fit the lid as there seems to be a right way. In which case it would help if this were marked on the outside - eg you could align a mark. Overall recommended

Mit dem Bambussteamer macht es wirklich sehr viel Spaß Bauzi, Dim Sum oder andere asiatische Rezepte nachzukochen. Es geht schnell, einfach und schmeckt fantastisch. Auch einfache Mahlzeiten mit gedämpftem Gemüse gelingen wunderbar. Die Reinigung ist ebenfalls einfach: man nimmt warmes Wasser und gegebenfalls etwas Pril und lässt den Steamer danach gut trocknen. Durch das heiße Wasser dehnen sich die Einsätze ein wenig in die Breite, allerdings ist die Qualität gut genug um dem Stand zu halten. Fazit: Ich bin sehr begeistert und kann den Steamer nur empfehlen.
