The Little Green Sheep Waterproof Mattress Protector for Babies, Organic Cotton, 60 x 120 cm

I got these to protect our organic baby mattress. I actually purchased two so that if there is a leak in the cloth nappy, we can change out the sheet and the mattress pad quickly. I’m from the states, so the concept of a waterproof pad is not new, but ours usually wrap around the mattress itself. I like that this one lays flat and fits just the top since for a baby having a leak, it’s easier to quickly remove it without having to unhook it from around the sides, also, elastic is plastic, meaning it’s made from petroleum products which would negate the whole point of an organic mattress pad. The reviews complaining about the lack of non organic products on this confuse me. Why would you bother buying an organic cotton product only to complain about the lack of petroleum?It being organic is a must for our family and all it takes to attach is adding a bedsheet atop it. This completes our organic sheet (we have white sheets for this) on organic pad on organic mattress. I’m very happy with the purchase! I’ll update this review if anything changes. In my photo, the mattress protector is under the sheet directly on the mattress. As you can see,’it doesn’t add a lot of bulk which I think will be more comfortable for baby!

Definitely my favourite 'waterproof' sheet for going under fitted mattresses. They look and feel top quality. They have a price to match that though! Like all waterproof sheets, they take much longer than a fitted sheet to dry. So at the start of potty training we put puppy pads on top of this sheet to take the hit when possible. Ultimately we'll just use this under the sheet though.

Baby sleeps well on this but thankfully haven’t had to test it’s absorbency or water resistance yet as there’s been no nappy leaks!

I bought this to cover a 2nd hand mattress as they don't sell new mattresses in the size I need. This liner is really good quality. I knocked 1 star off just because I thought it might have a thick cushioned layer to it but it doesn't.

Great quality item. Does the job very well, very soft to touch even after the wash, didn't loose it shape or size. Had a smaller size for a baby cot before and was happy with it, so now stick to the same brand, love it

I put this on my tutti bambini cozee cot. Although it’s a bit big it folds over the mattress at the ends and sides and the fitted sheet goes nicely over the top. I’m pleased because the cozee mattress protector gets poor reviews and this one seems like good quality.

You can't go wrong with this mattress protector. No crunchy rustling noises and it really does protect the mattress - I've been using The Little Green Sheep mattress protectors for years. Look no further! Hope this was helpful! :)

Really soft and breathable, doesn’t make a nasty crinkly noise. Protects the mattress well from sick (not tested it with other accidents yet!). Doesn’t go round the mattress just sits on top but doesn’t slide about.
