2 x Luxury Belgian Style Waffle Mix - Waffle Mixture for Belgian Waffles & Liege Waffles

Very easy to make. Just add water and oil as per the directions, mix and pour.I get about 12 big rounds per pack or 24 per two packs, so they work out about 12p per quarter. Actually cheaper than shop bought and far nicer.Only complaints, I would personally prefer more vanilla but I can add that if I want it stronger. I like mine sweeter and with a touch less salt but a bit of syrup fixes that.Overall they are so easy to make and a good price, I think I’ll be getting more.UPDATE: I’ve ordered a second box of these, the waffles are great and so easy to make. My niggle with the salt was fixed by adding a couple of teaspoons of sugar to the mix. So I’m very happy now.

Yes! I think it is expensive but then treats always are and this is certainly a treat. I enjoyed the purchase of a single bag so I doubled it to experiment further. I added coffee powder and finely chopped walnuts to my latest waffle. This is what I wrote about the single bag that I bought.:-I so enjoyed the waffles served up for breakfast on a visit to my daughter in law, that I bought a Belgian Waffle, Canapé and Cakes Maker - Party Pastry Maker. I bought the Efbe-Schlott make because it has 3 Interchangeable Baking Plates the plates remove for washing too. I made the traditional waffle recipe in the book first but found it to be a little heavy. I have later discovered that this was because I mixed it too vigorously. I bought this mix on a whim and it was next to be tried. The waffles came out light and slightly sweet. They were prefect. Taking into consideration the fact that you only need to find water and oil to make up the dry mix and that I never run out of these two ingredients, I decided that it was a very good buy. My favourite at the moment is to add a fresh apple chopped finely to the mixture and a ½ tsp of Cinnamon. Delicious!!

It's so tasty! Best waffle mix I've bought so far.It is a sweet mix, so might not be suitable for some savory applications but it was perfect for me. They come out very thick and with a good texture, not too sweet and without that strange overly salty taste of some waffle mixes.Bonus that you don't need eggs or milk to make them, though considering I've had pancake mix [small one portion mixes, which is why I'm not getting them instead] that hasn't needed anything except for water added I'm somewhat surprised that you still need to add oil, but it's a lot more convenient than needing to keep eggs and milk in for them all the time which is great for me as Pancakes/Waffles are frequently what I go too when my pantry is starting to run low on supplies!Just take it from me, be careful not to overcook! It's not the same if you leave them in too long, they start to dry out and go kind of hollow and uninteresting. They also can expand a surprising amount and go everywhere if you're not careful! :D

Bought this on a whim, for something different and a bit more up market. It arrived in good time, well packaged and secure for a consumable. Instructions were clear giving you weighing options for two batch sizes and cooked well. It is not your eggy pancake if that is what you are use too, but this makes a nice change especially if you have a waffle maker. The kids will love this. It is worth trying this product if you are looking for a waffle recipe and you are not one for bashing pots in the kitchen.

Love this waffle mix. Used with a waffle maker, they are thick and fluffy. Very tasty. Sweet but not sickly, unless you smother it with maple syrup like me! :-D Mmmmm yum!!Very easy to make the mixture up. They give you 2 quantities on the back, the first smaller amount makes 4 waffles. The second option doubles that.I have also used the mixture to make fluffy pancakes the good old fashioned way in a pan. They come out nice and thick like american pancake. Flip them over when the mixture starts to form air bubbles in. It's just like being at IHOP! Definitely recommend and will be buying more when I run out.. which might be soon!P.s the packet has a zip lock thingy along the top to keep it fresh. Perfect!

This is an update, have just bought a repeat 2 x 1kg. I gained confidence from the last pack, so I decided to go all the way and made a batch from one whole pack of 1kg, added the oil, extra vanilla and extra water. The extra water makes good waffles in my sage waffle maker. The waffles are very large and perfectly formed, I made 16 this morning and will soon halve and then freeze, they so much nicer than biscuits and more substantial. If I want my waffle crisp, tnen I just pop into the toaster for a short blast. I will repeat in the future, was going to make my own mix but no point, this mix is lovely

All I can say is that these will be my go to back for my waffles! Really easy to mix and straightforward instructions on the back of the packet.In my circle rotation waffle maker the instructions for the 240g portion mix can make up to 4 Belgian style waffles! If you need to make less just cut the quantities in half!The waffles don’t taste overly sweet like the pre made ones which is even better. Can’t wait to make my favourite fried chicken and waffles next time 👌🏿

Simple and delicious!! We used to make our own waffle mix which although not very complicated is a bit of a faff on a busy morning we could do without and we never got the taste completely right either! These are amazing far better than I was expecting, you just add a small bit and oil and water to the mix and it combines so easily you hardly even need to stir it much with a fork certainly no need for any whisking and the taste is the nicest waffles ever, far nicer than our previous attempts. The price is a bit high but for a once in a while treat I'll definitely be carrying on getting these!
