Firzone FZ-100 Portable Infrared Sauna

I suffer from a chronic health condition. My research showed that the FIR Sauna could help in many ways - increase my metabolic, raise my temperature to kill bacteria and viruses, excrete toxins - so I have been trying it out for a few weeks. I am absolutely delighted with my purchase and how easy it is to use. Having it in my bedroom means I can 'pop in' when I have the time. Initially I couldn't hardly sweat at all, but now I can hear the dripping sound of perspiration as it hits the floor. Unexpected side effects are of feeling really good afterwards and my chronic back pain is relieved for about 18 hours. It came in a flat cardboard box that would hold a modern TV, is instantly assembled so easily, and you sit on the canvas chair while you have your session. It is good to have a towel to sit on and one round your neck to soak up the sweat.

I have owned this sauna for a few years and decided to buy another now I am back in the UK. I have never had a problem with previous ones I owned and this new one is exactly the same. When it arrived I let it run for a while to heat off any chemicals left on from the manufacturing process and then used it myself. Very easy to clean after use. I watch the Tv while using the sauna and even thought my head is outside the sauna the amount of sweat coming off of my head causes my glasses to steam up, so it really does give a total body sweat session. I use it to sweat out metals from my body as steam saunas will not do this. The body sweat from infra red sauna use contains 15 - 20% toxins, whereas body sweat from steam saunas contain approx. 3% toxins. I think this is one of the best detoxing devices available and very good value for money.

It wasn't until I'd ordered it that I was alerted to the fact that many portable saunas have very high electomagnetic radiation readings, which is detrimental to health in the long-term, and potentially quite dangerous. I read a number of reviews which recommended other makes that are very low, but not available from Amazon. I tried to get accurate information on this one but it seemed to be unavailable at the time, so I sent it back since I did, in any case, already have a permanent sauna on order. I did read one review that said the person had measured the output with a meter and found it to be nothing like what the manufacturers claimed it to be. However, the manufacturers have since contacted me and said that this machine does NOT have high EMF and has been proven beneficial to many medical conditions. The manufacturers have also said that they have more up-to-date models with a very low output. This is a topic of very hot debate. But I would not sit in one of these unless it had been rated as very low by INDEPENDENT scientists. And I can only suggest that you do your own research.

I was impressed by the reviews and hoped for health benefits, such as detox. I was also interested to see if it would help with my recently diagnosed arthritis. The sauna arrived before it was even scheduled to arrive according to my order confirmation. Very impressed. It was very easy to put up, and the instructions are very clear. I had a query, which I submitted to the company, and they responded very quickly. I had read the reviews about not sweating, and it took me until my 4th session to sweat, but the first three sessions left me feeling warm and toasty. I am only 4ft 11ins tall, and so my feet would not reach the foot pad. So I put an upturned wooden box under the foot pad to be able to enjoy it. I had worried, that I could sit comfortbaly in the chair with my head out of the hole, but this was not an issue.

Now I never write reviews, but this product really deserves one. I bought this in the vague hope that it would help me detox from a massive fungal infection (Candida Albicans). The reviews were good on it, but I was a little sceptical. I shouldn't have been because I've been using it for a week now and I feel great! I started off not sweating at all for the first few uses, but upon Googling this I found that it is quite normal. I have been using it morning and evening where possible, and after about my third use the sweat started. After my 30 mins is up, I get in a warm shower and scrub with a loofah mitt before putting the shower temp down to close the pores. Once dressed I feel relaxed, my aches and pains have gone and I feel that, along with some natural anti fungals and strict diet, the Candida is almost gone. I wholeheartedly recommend this infrared sauna.

I have had this sauna for five months only used it 3 times it is good for relaxing and muscle tiredness but now it stoped working so i am going to see if i can get a replacement, So i am only giving it 3 stars

It's very handy, and comfortable. I will buy it again
