I had scepticism on the this product as we all know how much some things are rallied beyond their true performance but thats what reviews are for to help give some idea of personal experiences. Whats important is you accept what is good for one, may not be good for another. I bought this along with a host of other Meguiar's gear after using some of their products recently or over the years so I have always been happy with their quality. After cleaning your car and wheels with your standard shampoo or whatever product you use - I use Meguirs Ultimate wash and wax and have to say - it is top notch shampoo! Anyway, I didn't buy an applicator for this stuff which smells amazing but is liquid and sticky! Fluid enough but sticky. I used a cheap supermarket home kitchen sink, soft scouring sponge, the ones which are sponge one side and a soft gentle scour side the other. Pick up a pack of 10 for 70p or something silly. I had one under my sink and its still going 3-4 uses later but it is breaking up now. Use what ever you deem suitable; maybe even a 1" paint brush would do it. Make sure whatever you use is firm enough but pliable to go round your alloy wheel with some precision or you get this sticky mess (LOL) all over them and your hands. For us men sticky mess is a nuisance and for those women, they hate it unless its chocolate cake!..........I've gone off track.......... It leaves a magnificent sheen to your tyres and they make mine look new! I do find myself applying a lighter second coat to add some deeper sheen. So, how long does it last? Depends on the pre-wash, thickness of coating, how many coats you apply and more importantly the environment you drive in. The first time I did it, i drove to the horse yard and they looked like they had been cleaned days ago due to the dust so had to clean them off again and recoat along with the car!! Drive in normal dry conditions and mine tend to last about 4 days new look, upto 7 days clean look. Then I'd be wanting to treat them again. I tend to clean my car every fortnight but I don't usually clean the wheels as i use a non-water based Meguiars product for in-between water washes. I could use that waterless product on the tyres and treat with the Tyre Gloss but I doubt it would be like water washing them clean and treating. Maybe I'll try it. What i have found is this product goes on sparingly! They recommend a one pound coin size, I use twice that and for first coat so more than double what they say to use. You can use it very sparingly, you just have rub it around the tyre more. I can't be bothered and find it applies better using a little more. I also noticed after a few tests, your tyre can make a difference on how much you need. My front tyres use more than my rears (different brands and makes front to back). My fronts have higher profound kerb protection and seem to absorb more liquid than the rears. Odd but true. Either way, the bottle will last me ages!! Even if I cleaned weekly, it lasts a good time so is value for money! Very much recommend like many Meguiars products and some not like the Ultimate Detailer ( I use on vinyl wrapped car, just isn't that great a product - unlike their Wash and Wax anywhere - outstanding)! Sorry, I'm not promoting them just sharing my experiences. There are probably better products out there but this particular one I find great and value and can be sourced easily.

Favourite product. Best applied with one of those puck type thickly haired brushes. Very little fling. Stays shiny looking for a decent length of time. Does pick up some dirt but actually washes off pretty easily. Easy to use. Smells nice too. I do sometimes use on black plastics, but it's a bit too shiny on those and do prefer other products for this application

It's a really good tyre gel, takes a very small amount to achieve the results desired, definitely worth applying a base layer and re-applying after ten minutes to get a nice, lasting effect. The bottle had leaked in the package but fortunately not too much and the gel was within a bag which stopped any major issues.

Easy to use with a tyre dressing sponge, a little goes a long way. Leaves a lovely black gloss finish on the tyre, a good couple of weeks driving through bad weather stayed looking good and still looking good after washing. This bottle will probably do for 6-9 months of application.

This does exactly what it says on the bottle nice and shiny. Don’t last as long as it says but I’m sure it will be better in summer.
