Bought the bird bath one first and bought two of these for either side. Well impressed.

This is a heavy-duty bracket, so be sure & use proper screws. You have to use your own. I'm using this bracket to hang wind chimes, but it could easily handle a hanging flower basket. It looks from the picture as if it's a uniform color, but it has a black base with brown over it, to look like old cast iron. If you want it a uniform black you could probably wash it with a degreaser, let it dry, and then use exterior oil paint. It is beautiful, and you won't be disappointed.

Ich kann mich nur meinen beiden Vorrednern anschließen. Viel mehr gibt es dazu eigentlich nicht zu sagen. Es ist halt Esschert Design. Ich habe schon mehrere Artikel von dieser Serie (Vogelbad, Trollis f. Blumentöpfe, Ampel usw.) und ich bin von allen begeistert. Dieser "Vogel-Wandhaken" hat mir deswegen so gut gefallen, weil er so kurz ist im Gegensatz zu den anderen Wandhaken und weil das Vogelmotiv wirklich hübsch aussieht (wie auf dem Foto) und für kleinere Ampeln bzw. Solarleuchten, Meisenknödel, Vogeltränken, kleine Vogelhäuschen und und und besser geeignet ist. Dieser kleine Wandhaken ist eine absolute Verzierung von (Balkon/Terrassen-) Wänden. Ich bin noch lange nicht fertig mit Artikeln von Esschert Design, die ich zur Verzierung meines Balkons so nach und nach vervollständigen werde. Meiner Meinung nach geht nichts über diese Produkte. Der Preis ist angemessen. Manches ist etwas teurer - aber wie gesagt: es lohnt sich. Was mich etwas gestört hat war, dass kein Befestigungsmaterial (Dübel und Schrauben) bei dem Wandhaken dabei war. Für mich ist das jetzt keine große Sache, weil ich jede Menge an verschiedenen Schrauben und Dübel in meiner Werkzeugkiste habe. Kein Grund für mich, einen Stern abzuziehen. Dennoch fände ich es besser, wenn es dabei gewesen wäre.

We had the welcome mat to match so I ordered the bracket. It's very nice. Somewhat short, but good for a medium sized hanging basket. I touched up both pieces (the bracket and the mat) with some Minwax Gel Based Stain (Mahogany) and I think they look even better. I sort of 'dry brushed' them and the effect is very nice. Overall, a nice decorative bracket at a very good price. I knocked one star because it could be a tad bigger.
